Guests praise the spacious, shaded pitches and the relaxed atmosphere with direct access to the river. The restaurant serves delicious meals with an extensive selection of Belgian beers. About the campground: The nightmare begins right at the entrance and exit—it’s incredibly confusing, and you have to turn onto a busy road. This road is noisy both day and night. The campsite itself is nice, but that’s about it. Cold, outdated showers and sinks.Next to the restaurant, the scene resembles a junkyard—which is very inviting for a restaurant visit. Dog hair is everywhere in and around the restaurant, and three dogs are constantly lounging around there. Upon arrival, we were told that the pizza is fresh and not frozen. In the evening, we wanted to eat pizza, but we were told the delivery person was having trouble with his car, so not every pizza was available. Thank goodness we left without eating. The owner, who also runs the campground, serves customers in shower slippers and clothes that aren’t exactly clean. At night, when you walk to the restrooms, parts of the campground’s walkways aren’t lit. Unfortunately, we had to pay for the entire stay in advance while still on the road—now we know why: the average camper usually leaves here after four days at the latest. We wanted to do that too, but then we would have only received a voucher for the campground. We can only advise everyone to look for or head to a better spot in the area—there are plenty of options. As for the owner himself, all we can say is that being self-employed in Germany means: working on your own—not just chilling on your own. Dog poop on the benches across from the restaurant.
Poor hygiene in the toddler bathtub and changing table. When it’s windy or raining, branches fall, posing a danger to people and property. Tree maintenance is nonexistent.
We left the campground a day early.this is a translation, click here for the original

If I could have given more than five stars, I would have! 💖💖💖
We stayed there for two weeks with our two children, and for the third year in a row, we loved the place, the staff, and the friendly atmosphere!
The campsites are spacious and shaded, and the view of the river is breathtaking. It’s just a few steps away, and the riverbanks are impeccably maintained. The water depth is ideal for swimming and cooling off in complete peace of mind, ensuring the children’s safety.
The restrooms are cleaned daily, and you’ll find all the comforts and amenities you need during your stay.
The staff is fantastic—very welcoming and dedicated to ensuring the campground’s guests are satisfied. A wide range of high-quality activities are offered, such as concerts, shows, and themed meals: plenty of opportunities to enjoy wonderful moments of togetherness with family and friends.
Games for children are available, as well as a library and a bouncy castle—to the delight of the little ones!
Jennifer takes to the kitchen every day to treat you to her excellent home-cooked meals. Fresh bread is delivered every morning—just place your order at the front desk for the next day: the partner bakery is excellent, by the way!
In short, I warmly recommend this campground: fun and relaxation guaranteed! 🥰this is a translation, click here for the original

We just spent two wonderful weeks here; the owners are fantastic. For beer and cocktail lovers, the bar is great, and the snacks are generous and of excellent quality.
The campsites are very shaded, with access to the river at the foot of the campground, and pets are welcome.
I highly recommend this campgroundthis is a translation, click here for the original

Just spent almost three weeks with my wife and our dogs, they accommodated us with a quiet end pitch which was really perfect. The owners are very friendly and caring throughout our stay, sanitary facilities spotless, good bar and fresh bread to order etc. We went without our grandchildren but the campsite put on foam parties and discos for the little ones and we wished they'd come with us!... A treat to leave your caravan a few steps and relax in the lovely, cooling Céze river. Good supermarkets very close by (one with petrol) - all the best to the family at Camping la Plage.

A decent campground in a great location along the river. Among the positives, we particularly enjoyed the swimming area, which is directly accessible from the campground, as well as the spacious sites, most of which are well-shaded.
However, a few improvements could be made. Drinks at the bar are excessively expensive. The restrooms are too far away, outdated, and small, and there are also no dishwashing sinks. The water that runs continuously down the path leading to the restrooms also gives the impression of a lack of maintenance and, unfortunately, makes the place look a bit neglected.
As for the kitchen, there is also a lack of professionalism, particularly regarding hygiene, which could use some improvement.
That said, the campground remains very pleasant and welcoming. It seems to me that the owners have recently taken it over, so we’ll give them time to get things in order and make improvements. We’ll definitely be back and will recommend it despite these few areas for improvement.this is a translation, click here for the original

Attentive owners, a quiet and shaded campground, the on-site restaurant—which comes highly recommended—serves generous, delicious meals, and there’s a small on-site grocery store that’s great for picking up essentials. Direct access to the Cèze River via a small beach along the campground—ideal and peaceful for recharging (my wife loved it!!)—the restrooms were clean and well-maintained; thank you...a wide variety of large play areas for kids, including a big library, an inflatable play structure, a ping-pong table, and I’m sure I’m forgetting some…My little girl was over the moon during an unforgettable foam party… thanks to the owner for dancing with my little sweetheart… we’ll definitely be back next year
