This resort is particularly appreciated for its friendly and helpful multilingual staff who immediately make guests feel welcome. The beautiful location offers breathtaking views over Lake Garda, with the terraced camping area nestled among olive trees creating a Mediterranean atmosphere. The restaurant serves tasty dishes, especially the pizzas which are frequently praised, and the pool complex with slides and whirlpool is a family favorite. The children's animation is experienced as fun and active, though some guests note that certain sanitary facilities are outdated and could use renovation.

This was our third stay at Glamping Weekend, and this time we stayed in the Next L for the first time.
Let me start on a positive note: the surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, and you can go in any direction from here. The campground is cozy, small-scale, and has limited car traffic, which is great for kids. You can park outside the … campground, but unloading right at your cabin is also possible.
The restaurant has an excellent menu with more than enough choices, so if you don’t feel like cooking, you don’t have to.
It’s close to Saló, where there’s a great Intermark for all your (gluten-free) groceries.
Reception and entertainment staff speak (some) Dutch, and there are plenty of playgrounds for the little ones.
Now for the downsides:
The hygiene in our accommodation (Next L, built in 2017) was very poor. Cobwebs everywhere, mold in the bathroom, bathroom sinks full of cracks and limescale on the faucets, a broken faucet and a leaky showerhead, holes in the doors that had been patched up, stains on the bedding and towels, and the baseboard under the kitchen was unsafe and broken. The kitchen window wouldn’t stay open; we eventually fixed it by wedging a spoon between it and the frame. We saw that others used a broom to keep it open, so it’s a known issue…
The cottage was very green on the outside; it’s partially hidden among the trees. The porch is large, but the gate won’t close anymore; the umbrella stand is broken (we swapped it with the neighbors); the chairs were green; and the light on the porch is useless because you can’t read a book by it (luckily, we’d brought our own lights).
We went to the front desk, but in mid-September there was no other accommodation available—only starting the next day, for which we’d have to pay a hefty surcharge, even though the condition wasn’t any better.
We were also offered the option of staying in a “Loggica”—where we’d stayed before (nice!)—but the available unit was also tucked away among the trees, and we’d have had to pay extra cleaning fees (since we’d be leaving the “Next L” after just one night), and we specifically wanted space… All in all, there weren’t many options, so we ultimately agreed to a €100 restaurant credit.
They did offer to do extra cleaning or fix any issues, but they’d have to do so much that it still wouldn’t be enough. We didn’t need new linens because we’d brought our own.
The security guard at the campground, who was on duty starting at 9 p.m., didn’t speak a word of English. We wanted to know if the campground parking lot would be closed at night. We even used a translation app, but he didn’t understand a thing. In an emergency, this isn’t ideal. On our own initiative, we parked the car in the check-in parking lot, where there were other cars as well. We were able to drop off the keys in the mailbox.
We would definitely come back, but we’d choose a different type of cottage—we already know which one.this is a translation, click here for the original

It has everything you need! Friendly staff at check-in. The bungalow was clean.
We found it a bit pricey during our month-long trip across Italy… Probably because it was still the vacation season (in Italy).this is a translation, click here for the original
Hat alles was man braucht! Freundliches Personal beim Checkin.

The campground is very nice; some parts, like the paths and access roads, seem to have been renovated. We booked a site with private restroom facilities, and everything is in top condition.
