    We had a wonderful vacation. The campground is laid out in a way that’s easy to navigate, which is especially nice when you have kids. They really had a blast playing in the new playground with sand, water, and other kids. There’s plenty of space for everyone, and you can even do the dishes outside. The pool is cozy and big enough. We also went for a day of swimming at Mosaqua, which is a 20-minute drive away. In terms of location, this is definitely a top-notch campground—you can easily bike to Valkenburg or Gulpen.

    We enjoyed our stay for three whole weeks. The owners and staff are very friendly and welcoming. This year they invested in a new playground; I hope they’ll renovate the restroom building next time. It was fine but definitely outdated.

    I recommend everyone visit here—it’s definitely worth a repeat visit!

    Wij hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad. De camping is overzichtelijk opgezet en dat is met name met kinderen erg fijn. Zij hebben echt heerlijk gespeeld in de nieuwe speeltuin met zand, water en andere kindjes. Er is genoeg ruimte voor iedereen en afwassen kan gewoon buiten. Het zwembad ligt er gezellig bij en groot genoeg. Wij zijn ook een dagje gaan zwemmen bij Mosaqua en dat ligt met de auto op 20min rijden. Qua locatie is dit zoiezo een top camping, je bent zo met de fiets in Valkenburg of Gulpen.

    Drie weken lang hebben we mogen genieten. De eigenaren en het personeel zijn erg vriendelijk en hartelijk. Dit jaar hebben ze geïnvesteerd in een nieuwe speeltuin, ik hoop dat ze volgende keer het sanitair gebouw renoveren. Het was prima maar wel verouderd.

    Ik raad iedereen aan om hier naar toe te gaan, het is zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!

    Two stars. Unfortunately, we were stuck in a bit of a backwater spot. Partly because of this, we left early.

    We also didn’t feel entirely comfortable upon arrival. A lot of focus on rules (apparently necessary?), but it doesn’t come across well. It makes you feel like you’re not welcome.

    Incidentally, those same rules weren’t followed by the permanent owners.

    Twee sterren. Wij hadden helaas een beetje het verdomhoekje. Mede hierdoor eerder vertrokken.

    Ook voelde ons ook niet helemaal prettig bij onze aankomst. Veel gericht op regels (blijkbaar nodig?), maar komt niet fijn over. Geeft meer het gevoel dat je niet welkom bent.

    Overigens werden die zelfde regels niet nageleefd door de vaste eigenaren.

    Unfortunately, this wasn't our kind of atmosphere at all. It was very crowded at the campground and by the pool, and it definitely didn't feel peaceful or relaxing to us. Moreover, the mobile homes looked quite outdated, and the atmosphere there didn’t appeal to us.

    Right away at the front desk, we were told about things like what time you’re allowed to listen to music—which, for us, was already a sign that this wasn’t the kind of atmosphere we were looking for.

    The campground also came across as quite commercial: you have to pay extra for a preferred spot and for Wi-Fi, while there’s no bread delivery service. So we left pretty quickly.

    If you’re looking for a quiet and relaxed campground, I wouldn’t recommend this one.

    Dit was helaas totaal niet onze sfeer. Het was erg druk op de camping en bij het zwembad en het voelde voor ons absoluut niet rustig of ontspannen. De stacaravans zagen er bovendien behoorlijk verouderd uit en de sfeer daar sprak ons niet aan.

    Ook bij de receptie kregen we al meteen te horen over zaken als tot hoe laat je muziek mag luisteren, wat voor ons eigenlijk al een teken was dat dit niet de sfeer was die wij zochten.

    De camping kwam daarnaast behoorlijk commercieel over: extra betalen voor een voorkeursplek en voor wifi, terwijl er geen broodservice is. We zijn daarom snel weer vertrokken.

    Als je op zoek bent naar een rustige en relaxte camping, zou ik deze niet aanraden.
