Among the greenery in the Maashorst Nature Reserve
Take a trip into the green and enjoy the tranquility of Brabant. There is plenty to discover during a day in Nature Reserve de Maashorst, where the glamping is located. As you walk through the forests and over sand dunes, you'll encounter unusual animals and spectacular archaeological finds that they've found here in recent years. Spot the European bison, a Taurus, or an Exmoor pony. Follow your own way through this primeval area in Brabant, or follow one of the marked hiking, cycling, or children's routes. There are also organized events such as a walk on a Nature Cemetery, an alpaca walk, or the weekly forest adventure. There is something for everyone!

An outing for the whole family
Looking for activities that are fun to do with a group or family? How about a game of bowling on one of 10 lanes at Dollie's Bowling and Gaming Center a 7-minute drive from the glamping. Want to try to escape from an escape room together? Then you've come to the right place at Escaperoom Room 237. Here you drive in just over 10 minutes. With young children it is fun to go to the Groenhoeve petting zoo, 8 minutes away. Here you can cuddle with goats, rabbits, sheep and other animals. Or drive within 6 minutes to the Alpacafarm Vorstenbosch for a walk with these cute animals.
Climbing around the corner of the park
Around the corner from Sandberghe is De Mastworp, a place where you can rent bikes, among other things, but where you will also find a climbing park. There are 5 routes, all with different heights. Would you rather boulder than climb? You can go to De Mastworp for that too! So in this case, a day of adventure is literally around the corner and is a fun option for the whole family.
Water fun at BillyBird Park
A fifteen-minute drive from the glamping in North Brabant is BillyBird Park Hemelrijk. Take a dip in the recreational lake or unwind on the sandy beach. There are also pedal boats, a boat slide and bouncy castles on the water. Don't feel like getting in the water? There are plenty of other dry attractions and playgrounds where you can have lots of fun, indoors and outdoors. You can come here all year round!

We had a great week at the Heydehuis. The concept is really nice, and the greenery and nature at the park are absolutely beautiful! The surrounding area is also stunning, and the air conditioning was a real lifesaver with temperatures over 30 degrees all week. But all in all, we wouldn’t rent a cottage there again. The campground consists of two parts. One part with the wooden cottages and glamping tents, and an equally large part with mobile homes. This isn’t very clear online, where the campground is marketed as a “luxury campground.” The mobile homes, for the most part, seem to be very neat permanent units, by the way. Some appear to be temporarily rented out to people who work locally. This didn’t quite match the luxury vibe we had expected. The cottage itself and the facilities at the park were also a bit of a letdown. The cottage looks really cool, the terrace is spacious, and the hot tub is very nice. But the cottage smelled very musty, there was a lot of mold in the shower stall, the showers were leaking everywhere, the pots and pans needed replacing, and the cottage wasn’t really very clean. Definitely some overdue maintenance. Outside in the playground, the water feature wasn’t working anymore, and there’s no shade at any of the playgrounds. The pool was really nice and reasonably clean, but there was some overdue maintenance here as well, and it was very cold for a heated toddler pool. The washing machines didn’t smell fresh either. Too bad, because the concept is really nice, the park is beautiful, and the surroundings are gorgeous! Renting bikes was also very well organized nearby, and the restaurant next door is good and cozy. So, a nice experience in a beautiful setting, but not really the luxury experience we had expected.

Whitsun weekend 2026 we stayed at vacation park Sandberghe. One beautiful park, in the middle of nature. Our cottage with jacuzzi was clean and tidy. And the staff at park were very friendly. It was a warm weekend so the kids had fun in the pool and playground all weekend. We look back on a nice stay! And definitely recommend this park!

Beautiful place! Heyde house, spacious, cozy, complete and beautifully decorated. Service 10. Made beds, towel package, welcome package, friendly and personal welcome and approach. Park: Intimate, clear and in nature reserve. Also nice with kids! Hot tub at the cottage was a great success! Nearby everything to do, near Uden and Veghel, general facilities at relatively short distance.
