Visited this campground for the first time, we were going to stay 1 night, still added 1 more to explore the area by bike. Campsite; long stretched campsite with almost all the same spots. Normal size with water tap. Sanitary facilities; separate for men and women. Toilets separated (in another room) from shower and sink, I personally find more pleasant. We were there in early October, only front sanitary building open, 4 toilet for men, and some more urinals. 7 showers. Dishwashing is strange though, 2 sinks, 1 with cold and 1 with hot water, cozy sharing with neighbor. Chemical toilet next to the sinks is also not nice. Still a very nice area for cycling (many bike paths). Also ate in restaurant; good food. We will definitely come back.

Were there at the end of the 2025 season and it was just great. Arrived and were greeted in a friendly manner (didn't even have to get out). Then the question about a different pitch than the one booked. Clarified within a very short time and got it, including a private bathroom. It's a great campsite, which is almost like a small town. It's a great place to stay and there's everything you need, as there's a supermarket and stores. The washrooms were always spotlessly clean and were cleaned a couple of times a day. Even our private bathroom was mopped daily etc. The comfort pitch is nice and spacious and has water, electricity and TV connection and only a short walk to the beach or the washrooms. We liked it very much and will be back.

Lep kamp na odlični lokaciji. Prijazno osebje. Minus je pa, da se zaprt predprostor pred avtodomom, ki je del avtodoma ali šotor postavljen za odlaganje oblačil in opreme ob avtodomu, dodatno zaračuna. Jeseni in spomladi, ko so temperature zvečer običajno nižje, tak predprostor prav pride. Ko strošek prišteješ k ceni parcele je skoraj enaka, kot v kakšnem višje kategoriziranem kampu.

Super nice campsite for children where they can have fun among the animals and with the various go-karts and bikes provided. Martijn and Naduah (owners) are super helpful and are there for you when needed. Bread rolls in the morning is definitely a must, they still bring them warm to your place! Super nice weekend had and is definitely worth repeating.

It is a large campground but on the camper places you have no mind at all. Friendly reception. Nice neat campsite, with inspection clean plumbing and nice showers. Many cycling and walking possibilities.

Just outside Houffalize, beautiful campsite, giant facilities for campers, super friendly, Dutch is also spoken. Beautiful spacious camper spots. nice playground

The pitch is perfect. The bungalow is big, the campsite is nice with good facilities.

Park, surroundings and also the accommodations are very good. But because of the way we were treated by the reception staff, accused, antagonized and the blunt and disrespectful communication this park gets from me -1 star After a traumatic experience with fire in our home and wandering around for weeks or experiencing no home treated so inhumanely. I don't understand what these people are doing behind a counter at a vacation park if they hate people so much, such an ego making them think they don't have to explain anything and so not social. I actually have no words for it 😭

The campsite is very good in general, the bungalows "Magdalena" also, although they could review the cleanliness of the filters of the air conditioners because when you turn it on it comes out a bad smell. A TV is missing. The comforters are not warm enough. The worst thing; the "restaurant", that can't be called that, half of the menu they give you, they don't even have it, bad food, (at least on the dates we were there). Tiny supermarket considering the large size of the campsite. Little kindness of the girl at the reception who attended us during the days 6-8 October. The best; the location, the tranquility being low season, the large amount of parking.

Beautiful and well maintained campsite

I recommend you go elsewhere, even if you have to pay a bit more as there are plenty of superior sites and more welcoming hosts. The positives are that the location by the lake is pleasant. The toilets and showers were clean. It provides an ACSI discount off season (although even with this I’d recommend finding an alternative site). The negatives are the extremely poor attitude of the owner to paying guests and the many rules. On arrival you’re informed of some of these rules and presented with 2 page printouts of them (tbf some of it was info). There was no smile or welcome from the receptionist or the owner when we checked in. It was very frosty and we felt like they didn’t want us to be there despite our attempts to be friendly. If you’re using an ACSI discount then you need to pay cash. Despite all the rules and info provided this was something we were only told about at checkout. She said ‘it’s in the book’, presumably referring to the ACSI handbook which we don’t have. Fortunately we had the cash or I’m sure the owner would have insisted on charging us full price. When I said that we hadn’t been told about this she said ‘well it’s because you get the discount’. I told her it wasn’t a problem but that it surprised me as no other site we’ve been to has enforced a cash rule when using the ACSI discount. She replied very curtly and aggressively ‘my campsite my rules’ to which I pointed at the myriad of rules posted on sheets everywhere and said ‘yes I can see that’. She unfortunately took umbrage at this and began a tirade about how customers were so disrespectful. Just to note that at no point had we broken any of her rules nor had she accused us of doing so. It was a bizarre encounter. As the discussion continued I tried to explain that e.g. having multiple notices about not defecating in the showers isn’t going to deter the kind of person who would do that but it isn’t very pleasant to know about as a normal customer. However she was becoming increasingly belligerent and the discussion was getting nowhere so I cut it short. As I was leaving she again shouted at me that guests are so disrespectful to which I replied she hadn’t shown me any respect or even a basic welcome. She had no answer to this and simply said that I shouldn’t stay again to which I confirmed I wouldn’t. After I left she shouted not to slam the door (which I didn’t) then as we drove off she came out of reception and gave us the v sign. This woman has obviously been traumatised by guest behaviour. You only need to read some of the other negative reviews to see how she responds to customer complaints (or even just customer suggestions). So… my advice is to spend your money elsewhere with someone who understands hospitality and doesn’t take your money then treat everyone like they’ve pooped in the shower! Update: Following the owner’s response, it’s evident that she has fabricated these events to align with her narrative. The facts are that this was a brief overnight stay. We arrived at 1800, and the only other guests we encountered were the couple we greeted who were checking in before us. The campsite was practically empty. The only staff members we encountered were the receptionist and the owner herself, both during check-in and check-out. This entire interaction started during check-out the following morning. There were no disturbances, issues, or inappropriate behavior on our part; she is simply fabricating these claims. She was unhappy that I informed her that we were made to feel unwelcome by both her attitude and the many rules. Furthermore, she still misunderstands the nature of our complaint. We didn’t engage in an argument regarding the payment method. I casually mentioned that it’s the first time we’d been asked to pay cash for an ACSI booking but that it wasn’t a problem. It was her subsequent attitude that was the issue, evidenced from her aggressive shouting, and abusive gestures as we departed. Conclusion We do not intend to return to the establishment, and I would recommend others to avoid it as well.
