I was able to stay for 3 nights in one of the hiker's cabins. Fantastic stay with the 2 of us or in my case, with my two sons. We liked it very much; beautiful, quiet location on the lake. You don't overlook it from the cabin, but with 5 minutes walk down the hill then you are on the dock. A few times a week (high season) there is a pizza truck at the park with delicious pizzas. At the lake is a very affordable restaurant. Other than that, very clean toilet facilities. The only thing we missed was a small playground or a place to play soccer for the boys. At the reception they are helpful and you can get some small things. There is a bread service. In short; fantastic stay! We would love to come back again!

The "Comfort Room 2" houses for 2 people are relatively small and spartanly furnished. They are therefore more expensive than the larger houses. The kitchenette only has a fridge and a sink. There is no possibility to cook or bake anything. The separation of the bathroom and toilet into separate rooms is very good. The excellent service immediately replaced the faulty coffee machine. Unfortunately, there is no direct parking in front of the above-mentioned house types. The houses can be recommended with reservations and acceptance.

Stayed with my family in a bungalow (E) for two weeks in July/August. Bungalow was clean and well equipped and the beds were good. The camping has a very nice a quiet atmosphere. Views of the surrounding valleys are amazing as are the walking trails starting at the campground. Our kids loved the swimming pools (indoor and outdoor) and the playground. Animation was also really nice with varied activities.

Beautiful location, clear instructions, clean, all the necessities present, that made it a top stay! The whole team was easily accessible

Nice camping, clean bathrooms, plots for caravans something fair but very useful, sure we will return.

The campsite is great, the facilities are very good and the plots have shade. The pool and bathrooms of the best I've seen in a campsite. To put a downside that is not the fault of the management of the campsite would say that some people who have fixed plots are believed to have more right than those who go so punctually and go through your plot constantly as if it were not occupied. Also although it clearly states that you can not book loungers at the pool people go to eat and leave everything reserved, so it is difficult to have one. They do have some basic grocery type products but they are expensive and scarce, there are plenty of supermarkets very close by. Even with these little annoyances the stay was very pleasant and we will be back for sure.

We stayed at the campsite in late July (2025) with our family, dog and caravan. For us the first time we went to a Huttopia campsite. Because of the image of a nature campsite and because it would be good quality, we had chosen Huttopia. The staff was very friendly. Sandwiches at the campsite were delicious. Swimming pool small but fine. But what was really disappointing was the plumbing. Often it was dirty. Gentlemen and ladies on 1 toilet. Little privacy. Small and dated. That was a bummer. In addition, there is little to do in the immediate area. But once you drove a lot further (30/45 minutes) the surroundings were beautiful. For us, not so fast a second time to Huttopia.

"Sleek" campground, with friendly staff and a nice bistro. Fun for children up to age 8 is my perception. Personally we miss a "simple" soccer field. Sanitary and dishwashing facilities are really insufficient in this season. Capacity and also additional cleaning due to intensive use. Reported at reception, it is being worked on and referred to dependence on government agencies for additional sanitary building. Separate showers and toilets are available it seems to me and there is room for them. Additional facilities do require an additional financial investment of course. Not a short-term solution it seems. Campsite was full during our stay. Location of the campsite is top, between Valkenburg and Maastricht, which is the only reason why we chose this campsite. In retrospect, we think the price/quality ratio is not okay.

Quiet, well-situated campsite, but far from being worthy of a 4*, very friendly and attentive staff. Very outdated campsite, it would be good to renovate the entire site: driveway, pitches and sanitary facilities +++.
