A small, peaceful family campsite in the middle of nature, beautifully decorated and very clean. We appreciated: the warm welcome from the Gil family, Céline, Noémie and Martin, who shared their passion for their campsite and its history with us. Anthony for his warm welcome and for sharing his love of the Aude region's heritage, not forgetting the Sigean animal park 😉 Lucas available and helpful Louane for her professional welcome All these little moments allowed us to get away for a weekend and enjoy the river and the pool in a warm, peaceful and relaxing place. Wonderful, clean well appointed site in a spectacular geographical setting, all run with impeccable service by the friendliest staff (with a special thank you to Juan & Valentina). Well worth an extended stay and we hope to return in the future. Mark & Sandra Rice

Spent a long weekend at the campsite. According to the ADAC rating, it's a great place 2024, but unfortunately we can't share this rating at all. First our positive impressions: - Pitches relatively small but okay. - Indoor and outdoor swimming pool suitable for families with children. - Great surroundings and beautiful location. Our negative points: - Difficult access to the pitch. Narrow roads and hardly manageable with a large camper van. - Sanitary building very outdated. Always clean, but really old. Maintenance work has not been carried out in recent years. Dilapidated ceilings, poor sanitary facilities (cracked washbasins and urinals) and inadequate ventilation throughout the building. No incidence of light and much more. - Overall site maintenance leaves a lot to be desired. No lawn care, no hedge trimming, old concrete parts on the grounds and correspondingly high risk of injury for children. We would also like to appeal to the ADAC here. In my opinion, the criteria for achieving a 5* classification and the resulting designation as an ADAC Superplatz 2024 should be reconsidered. As a guest, I check the ADAC rating before booking, look at the website, get inspired accordingly and book my stay. Unfortunately, we fell for it because the ADAC rating was absolutely positive and the website was great. We will not be visiting this campsite again.

We spent the Pencôte weekend in a lodge for 6 people.when I arrived I saw that the housekeeping left much to be desired! Full of cobwebs inside and outside on the terrace.dusty dishes, had to rewash everything. The living room lamp very dirty, it must not have been cleaned for a long time . Lots of leaves inside. Outside, we can see that the green spaces are also lacking in maintenance, it's not at all welcoming for a 3-star!!!!. Everything has been neglected, and we're going to have to do something about it, given the price we're paying.

Pleasant campsite on the edge of town. The sanitary facilities are clean and functional. The pitches are well separated by hedges. Ours had a plug and tap. Beach 7 minutes away by bike.

Cottages are really beautiful among the trees. The beds are just really too narrow. In our 6 person cottage we also had no closet in our room. Only 1 mirror in the bathroom where the toilet was. Bit tight so all. Swimming pool was nice but not so big.

Super campsite, we had booked a fully equipped tent but unfortunately the weather wasn't good so I was able to stay in a mobile home which was really great. Thanks again for this upgrade on Whitsun weekend.

I've never yet seen a 4-star property with such dilapidated mobile homes. Everything outside is covered in grease, the fridge is rusty and stained, the table is barely holding up, the hairdryer is so noisy it can't be used, not to mention the stained comforters. At the pool, the floor is all blistered and borderline. In short, this campsite isn't worth 4 stars and is extremely unsanitary.
