Liked: Very friendly staff - nothing seemed to much trouble. The bungalow is quite new, so everything was almost perfect. Good location, with a short walk to the beach and local restaurants. Off-season, so most of the childrens' activities were closed, with the exception of the play area.

Great week had in buitenplaats Holten. Definitely worth repeating.

We spent three weeks here last year and have booked again for next summer. The area is fantastic and not yet massive (so not too expensive either). It is a long drive with the caravan but in our eyes it is worth it because we really had a top time last year. Without going into other reviews point by point, we had a different and therefore nicer experience in many areas than what we sometimes read here. The place is really good and super cozy. You and your fellow guests are responsible for keeping it clean and cozy. The campground team works their asses off, with the heat that can be here in the summer, but they don't act as pool boy, waiter, bartender or animation team. The guests do that themselves and that is precisely the charm of this campground. In addition, you notice every day that they listen when you have something to say or say. Highly recommended!

Very good campsite. Very welcoming and always available for campers. The pool is top-notch and access to the beach is very pleasant. Clean toilets and pleasant water temperature. The children's playground is well maintained. Having stayed at the campsite in low season, I can't comment on the entertainment, but I highly recommend it and I'm sure we'll be back.

Had a nice stay in a cottage located overlooking the Regge River, and a lovely hot tub! It does take a while to heat up... Nice walks at the Holterberg and the Salland Ridge, and Rijssen is definitely worth it! It was nice and quiet at the park now, which will be different in the season, but for us it was fine!

Great place for families with children

Excellent stay had! Beautiful surroundings. However if you are in a chalet you pay €100 deposit. In itself nothing wrong with that. Only you are kept on the line about the refund. We are now over a month after our stay, 5 contacts further and still have not received anything! Update: another week later! Still haven't seen one euro! 2nd update we checked out 4nov and it is now 28 Dec. Still no euro received 😡🤬🤬🤬 3rd update it is now Jan 17 still no euro seen. Phone contact also does not yield anything. Frustration all around. Ridiculous this. 😡🤬🤬

Only the direct beach location makes the 4th star! This resort is not actually a pure CP. Only the beach section (flat with nice sand) is a campsite. In the middle is the small marina. All pitches are large enough, on grass and mostly with a view of the beach. Camper vans and short stays are rare here. The sanitary facilities are getting on in years, but OK. There must be well over 1,000 chalets or vacation homes on the inside of the dam. The actual center is next to the reception. There is a huge indoor and outdoor restaurant, a large indoor swimming pool, another huge indoor park and a Spar supermarket. Certainly ideal for families with children. Despite it being July, the resort was not very busy, but I wouldn't want to be here with our camper van when it gets full. Across the road is the Walibi theme park with roller coasters etc. The next small town, Elburg, is a good 1 km away. However, it is very touristy and is frequently visited by buses. Super nice cottage, great for 2 people and especially as a couple, enjoy whirlpool, sauna and sunshower. Cottage was super clean on arrival, good service. Breakfast can be ordered and was delicious and plentiful!

Really a super park. Chalets are clean and well cared for. Service is sublime; Just called that the water in the shower stall was not draining properly, 10 min later someone is there to fix it. Can other parks learn something from this.
