Camping Roma CapitolWe were there in August/September 2024. We were shocked when there were no more than 30 campers on site. A huge campsite with no campers? The pools were as good as new and clean. Most of the pitches were overgrown. The sanitary blocks were as good as new and clean. Pizzeria was very expensive. The shuttle to the train for us 4 cost 15 EUR per trip (from 8.30 am to 7 pm). It was 30 EUR per day. We then drove to Laurentina to the parking lot, which was also recommended to us by the reception. (The campsite is 50 minutes from the center of Rome!). Our car was broken into in the guarded and fenced parking lot and we were robbed on a massive scale. Compulsory swimming cap absolutely out of date. Sun loungers cost extra. I cannot recommend this campsite. Prices for shuttle and sun loungers need to be reconsidered. Especially because car break-ins are the order of the day in Rome. The police didn't really help us here, apart from a confirmation for the insurance company. Although this happened to us, Baia Gasperina, which we had booked on the way back, did not waive any costs (we had our car provisionally taped up at the side window on the rear seat!) This is absolutely not customer-friendly. We cannot recommend the Baia Group. In Gasperina you also had to pay separately for the sun loungers at the pool. There are much cheaper campsites on Lake Garda with more inclusive services for the same price.

Wir waren im August/September 2024 dort. Wir waren geschockt, nachdem höchstens 30 Camper vor Ort waren. Ein riesiger Campingplatz ohne Camper? Die Pools waren neuwertig und auch sauber. Der größte Teil der Stellplätze war verwildert. Die Sanitätshäuser waren neuwertig und sauber. Pizzeria war sehr hochpreisig. Der Shuttle zum Zug kostete für uns 4 15 EUR pro Fahrt (von 8.30 bis 19 Uhr). Waren 30 EUR pro Tag. Wir sind dann nach Laurentina zum Parkplatz gefahren, der uns von der Rezeption auch empfohlen wurde. (Der Campingplatz ist 50 Min vom Zentrum Rom entfernt!). Auf dem überwachten und eingezäunten Parkplatz wurde unser Auto aufgebrochen und wir wurden massiv bestohlen. Badekappenpflicht absolut nicht mehr zeitgemäß. Liegestühle kosteten extra. Ich kann den Campingplatz nicht empfehlen. Preise für Shuttle und Liegen müssen überdacht werden. Gerade weil Autoaufbrüche an der Tagesordnung in Rom sind. Die Polizei hat uns hier nicht wirklich geholfen, außer einer Bestätigung für die Versicherung. Obwohl uns das passiert ist, wurde von Baia Gasperina, den wir beim Rückweg gebucht hatten, keine Kosten erlassen (unser Auto haben wir provisorisch abgeklebt am Seitenfenster am hinteren Sitz!). Das ist absolut nicht kundenfreundlich. Wir können die Baia Gruppe nicht empfehlen. Auch in Gasperina musste man die Liegestühle am Pool gesondert zahlen. Da gibt es am Gardasee wesentlich kostengünstigere Campingplätze mit mehr Inklusivleistungen für den gleichen Preis.

Buitengoed RuysbosWe were lovely at the end of the path; it is a quiet site because of its small scale. The staff is very friendly and easy to approach. The opportunities for fire making are very nice. The wood for the hot tub is included and easy to split because of the materials provided.

We zaten heerlijk aan het einde van het pad, het is een rustig terrein door de kleinschaligheid. De medewerkers zijn erg vriendelijk en makkelijk te benaderen. De mogelijkheden voor vuurtje maken zijn erg fijn. Het hout voor de hottub is inbegrepen en makkelijk te kloven door de materialen die aanwezig zijn.
