This year we were on the marina for the 3rd time in the low season. We had wisely made a reservation this time and, like many other guests, cannot understand that you can only move into the reserved pitch (20.00 Euro reservation fee) from 3.00 pm in the afternoon. This unnecessary and incomprehensible regulation should be reconsidered by the management. As in previous years, the campsite showed its good side. The clean sanitary facilities, which were always kept in good condition by the cleaning staff, deserve special mention. The beach is unbeatable and the surrounding area with its nature reserve can also be easily explored by bike on the cycle paths. There is a lot on offer for young and old on the extensive site and we will be back (with a reservation). Maybe the "3 p.m. rule" will be a thing of the past next time?

Been coming to this campground for years, stay always enjoyable! Beautiful hiking area which never bores!

The campground is very large. Very nice water park. Bathrooms kept very well. The pitches area reserved for those with dogs is nice (apparently there is also a vet inside) however it is confined to the edge of the campground (unfortunately you are sidelined) so it becomes very time consuming to move around even with children because the center of the village, the pools and even the bathrooms are far away.

Came especially for the new menu. Particularly good. A very nice concept.

The houses are essentially mobile homes. Everything is still very new. What was not so great is that there were no operating instructions for the appliances anywhere. The air conditioning was not supposed to cool but heat when the outside temperature was low. After a Google search, we were able to operate the appliance. We also didn't like the fact that only Dutch documents were displayed at check-in. If you see that the guests come from Germany or other countries, it would be advisable to also hand out corresponding information (or at least in English). However, this is probably also due to the fact that the park is located in the middle of Belgium and is not particularly geared towards tourists from other countries. Furthermore, you couldn't even go to the lake that borders the park as it was fenced off. The advantage is that you can get to Maastricht quickly. Also that the park was almost empty in the middle of the fall vacations (NRW). The houses were occupied to a maximum of 10%. The bistro on site was not attractively priced as it was very high. Several other reviews have already been written about this.

* Review of takeaway only * October 2024 Fish and chips were absolutely disgusting. Quite literally the worst I have ever bought. The fish was grey, thin and tasted funky 🤢 batter was so thick, and despite a semi crisp outside, it was still very wet and practically raw inside 🤮 The chips were a little better but not adequate by any stretch of the imagination. I guess as a holiday park takeaway they don't care about repeat business! £20ish Cash only for 2 portions. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and nice and the location in the park is good 👍

Beautiful campsite on top of a hill. Therefore a bit remote from the villages. But on the other hand also very quiet because it is not located on a road. The campground is very stretched out and consists of several parts. There are two areas for campers. One under the trees where the sites are scattered. And the other somewhat larger spots that are next to each other with the occasional tree. The campground has a great pool and fun entertainment in the evening. It is all French but they also try for the many Dutch people a nice vacation of it. In terms of food it is a pity that the baguettes are baked. A good deal with a local baker would be a lot better. Also the pizza dough is not to write home about much too dry and too tough. The burgers are highly recommended though. Also the restaurant is a must or evening grab a drink at the bar. The campsite is definitely recommended!

We have just spent 5 days at this campsite. We took a Prenium mobile home. Very clean and well equipped. From the dishwasher to the air-conditioning, everything is provided for a pleasant stay. The heated, covered swimming pool is ideal for young and old alike. The staff are very helpful. We would recommend this accommodation and campsite without any problem. Beautiful campsite,near Assen and the Baggelhuizerplas. There is nothing missing here. You can walk around the campsite and everything is very clean. Very friendly staff and there is plenty to do. Also for children. I understand the 5 stars very well!
