Super! What a beautiful park ☺️ The Rheezerlodge was very nice and clean. This was our first vacation with our little girl of almost 4 months and are very glad we chose the zandstuve. We would have liked to stay a little longer so that says it all.

This campsite was a bit disappointing compared to the expectations on the website. There the campground appears to be an oasis of peace/greenery. In reality, in high season it is a fairly busy campsite of which a large part is paved, and the spots are relatively small (our trailer tent just fitted on the spot, no room for the car). The safari tents/homes have the best spots, with your own tent you can get lucky with a shady spot, but also be completely in the sun. Campers stand in the middle of the campground in a large (asphalt) parking lot with no shade. Along the edge of the campground the local road can be heard quite well (regular truck traffic). The toilet blocks are nice and are cleaned 3x a day, but when the campsite is full, it is actually inadequate. Regular queues for the toilet and shower during peak hours or toilet paper that ran out. Also long queues at the washing machines, there are only 2 washing machines for the whole campsite. There is a generator in the toilet block which makes quite a lot of noise (especially at night if you are close to it). We asked if it could not be turned off at night, but unfortunately. It should be replaced next year.... The pool is nice with 3 different pools, though little shade all around and few chairs. There is entertainment for children, this is particularly suitable for children from 7-8 years, not really for the little ones. At the reception you can order bread daily and there is friendly staff who can give info about the area. There is a cozy bar with soda/coffee/ice-cream and delicious pizzas (order on time, otherwise you can wait >1h). There is a mixed crowd at the campsite, many families, different nationalities. The surroundings are beautiful, especially popular with downhill mountain bikers. All in all nice vacation, but the website is not quite in line with reality.

Relax right by the water!

Had the most incredible holiday - so relaxing and comfortable and packed with incredible experiences. Brilliant service. Wouldn't change a thing.

Nice park and very nice location. However, the indoor facilities for children are a bit disappointing (pool/playground). Fortunately we had beautiful weather almost all week. So the outdoor pool next door was super.

Nice cozy campground near a lake

Location of the tent was really in a very nice area, beds were good. Atmosphere on the fields was really good. Super nice that you can also sit outside all evening even if the weather is a little less, then you can still sit very nicely outside under the shelter.

Lots of space, wonderful that the children could go to the pool independently.

Nice environment, but the service and toilet facilities at the campground were very poor. Toilet, shower and dishwashing areas were mostly dirty. For example, the dishwashing area in the picture looked like this for days. Toilet paper often ran out and once when we asked at the reception if they could replenish it we were told that they were not going to do that but that we could buy toilet paper from them. There are plenty of other campsites in the area, so choose that.
