Campground with a lot of potential. Location is nice and the sites can be very nice. Unfortunately, the campground is still under construction and most of the work has been infrastructure and not the spots. Our spot was a mud puddle with very high grass. We were next to the chemical toilet emptying area so we were in the stench of the toilets with some regularity. The rest of the time we were in the sewer smell coming from the toilet building. When I went to say something about this, the staff member acted as if she was hearing this for the first time. She pretended to write it down in a booklet for the TD and then nothing was done about it. Pizzas were tasty, but quite pricey for the pizza you got for it. Nice that there was a food truck coming with tasty snacks and fries, according to the woman at the front desk it would be quiet around 7pm when I arrived at the food truck however there was still a line from here to the end of the line. This is where I would look for a solution, especially with the heat it is nice if people can stand somewhat in the shade. The restroom building was clean, but the toilet paper dispenser are really bad. Paper is constantly stuck and the dispenser hangs in a place where you can hardly enter the toilet. What I found weird is that the dishwashing sinks were not covered, so with rain you can't do dry dishes....

we spent 2 nights camping at The Swinnenbos at the end of August. The campground was very quiet then. The caravan sites are mostly flat and spacious and partly under pine trees. The sanitary facilities are not modern, but clean and well cared for; the shower runs on 50 cent coins, per coin you can take a hot shower for two minutes, which we find very short. We have made beautiful junction walks in the surrounding forests, you can start from the campsite. The campground is close to a through highway, but it does not bother you at all. Nice campsite as a base to explore Diest.

We spent 6 nights on the pitch at the end of August with a baby and a toddler. The pitch under the shady pine trees was great and we were able to choose it ourselves. The water park is very attractive, especially for children. The beach, on the other hand, is rather windy, undulating and steep. The pizzas in the restaurant are very good, the store has a wide selection and the gelateria is always worth a visit. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Campeggio del Garda is a beautiful campsite with a good location on Lake Garda. The pitches and accommodation are clean and well maintained. The pool area is nice, but swimming caps are compulsory here, which takes some getting used to. The supermarket on the site is quite overpriced, but this is often the case with campsites. Apart from that, the site has a pleasant atmosphere and is ideal for families or those seeking relaxation. All in all, a solid campsite with some minor drawbacks.

A fantastic house with all amenities. And a beautiful location on t water and close to nice bike routes.

It is all new and very clean and the staff very attentive and friendly. The pool is wonderful and the beach is next to it. We have spent two perfect days of rest. We will come back without hesitation.
