Spontaneously booked a family lodge last minute with my husband who is diagnosed with Alzheimer's which limits us greatly. What a wonderful cottage we got, he felt right at home there too. With the view of the cows, the peace and yet close to the facilities it was ideal for us. He even went hiking in the park on his own (the map in his pocket). The friendliness and service everywhere was really great. A couple of times great food at the restaurant with top notch service. Take away at the snack bar, at the time you indicated it was ready and again with a big smile. In the supermarket get the sandwiches, same story. Ideal that everything works through the app, no hassle with keys or opening hours of a reception. The area is just very nice, we do not do much more but just towards Putten or Barneveld is a nice outing. Then, of course, we were also very lucky with the weather.

Fine campground with plenty of spacious sites. On the pricey side. Located on the lake so that's top. Plumbing was absolutely super and very clean. Reception friendly, sandwiches in the morning delicious. All in all very good.

If you don't need much it is a good campsite. Plumbing is good and clean. Surroundings are beautiful.

Very friendly English spoken well. Lovely couple who are building this place up. Peaceful with bird song all day and evening with wandering Dutch rabbits ☺️ We booked personal toilet and shower for €6 extra per night which was worth it. 10 mins drive from Jumbo supermarket with lots of other shops you will need. 20 min drive from ferry to Texol if you desire that experience we did not enjoy Texol. Owner keeps strict eye on noise levels from other campers Bread delivery is available if you require. Free good WiFi Very safe

Third time. Great camping. Too bad about the scottisch football lager louts playing German march music at 9am (!) and drunk.

If, like me, you're looking for a clean, human-sized campsite set in the forest, in a quiet location (my stay was out of season), with high-quality, comfortable and very well-equipped mobile homes...great facilities (outdoor and indoor swimming pools, bars, restaurant)...a welcoming team, very polite and respectful young employees....The campsite is close to the sea and shops (everything can be done by bike)... So don't hesitate to book at Bois de la Gachère

I cannot reproduce what is written here. The prices are getting more and more expensive for this campsite. The campsite operators are getting friendlier and friendlier. The men and women are very nice, not very friendly anymore and preferably only Dutch and no Germans who are not so welcome here. German children also have difficulties getting in contact with Dutch children or playing with them. They just don't like the German children, my child told me the same thing, which is really sad. As we have been here many times before, an old operator is definitely more pleasant and nicer. Now that the children have taken over, it's no longer nice. It is also strange that there are only positive messages here and no negative ones. We won't be coming back...
