Cool family campground with very friendly managers. We were welcomed with a big smile, were helped out several times (thanks again!). Pitches were perfect, overlooking a cool playground. Barefoot path was laid out with attention to detail and well worth the effort. Compared to our visit 3 years ago, the campsite has been greatly modernized. It is a campsite that is clearly taken care of!

RCN Vakantiepark De Schotsman I spent a great few days camping at RCN Vakantiepark De Schotsman. The camping facilities are excellent and very well maintained, which made our stay very pleasant. One of the highlights were the public toilets, which were spotless at any time of the day. Whether it was morning, afternoon or evening, the toilets and showers were always clean, which shows that they take the cleanliness and comfort of their guests very seriously. It is a highly recommended place for families with children, as it offers a safe and pleasant environment for everyone. We will definitely be back, I give them 5 stars!

Beautiful campsite right on the river. A little remote but very worthwhile.

You rarely get to see anything like this. Restaurant, seating and toilet accessible to everyone. Guided tour costs, but is not absolutely necessary. Come in, feed the animals, take photos and make sure you don't get spat on😉. Dogs are not allowed in the stables or with the animals. However, they are welcome on the outdoor terrace.

Perfect camping voor rust, maar ook super leuk voor basisschoolkinderen. Het meer is heerlijk om te dobberen, vissen, kanoën, roeien, suppen, of zwemmen. Maar je kan er ook prima vissen of gewoon heerlijk genieten van de natuurpracht die deze camping te bieden heeft.

Beautiful campsite in green surroundings. Enough choice of accommodation, sometimes close together. Very friendly and helpful staff, always willing to help. Delicious pizzas and fresh bread, oh yes and don't forget the delicious ice creams. Definitely recommended!

Beautiful cottage with all the trimmings. Outside surrounded by greenery where you can sit. The park is beautifully landscaped and well maintained. The park is restaurant Bie Heintje what is very cozy and where you can eat for normal prices. The village Ootmarsum is within walking distance and it is a very nice walking and cycling area. Recommended are watermill Pels, Singraven and the Lutterzand.

Nothing is what it seems on the website. Here we are in a mud puddle among bulldozers. No restaurant, hardly any service. At check out they made a nice arrangement to accommodate the imperfections. Probably this campground will do much better next year considering what is to come does look really good. Do wait and see how they will manage this considering we saw mostly and almost only vacation workers

Booked and a day later it turns out the pool is not in use. When canceling we were told this was mentioned on the site, but to our knowledge only if you click on the heading pool. On the other pages there is plenty of advertising about a park with a pool. Alternative is free swimming at nearest pool, but with a baby and 3 year old that is not easy. And other facilities like animation do not qualify the children. We can whistle for our money 3 days after booking!

Please avoid pitch no. 123, especially having a tent. After a big but short rainfall, the place is flooded, where others are relatively dry

During our bicycle tours we stayed several times as a stopover on the hiker's field. Pleasant and quiet campsite and nice atmosphere. Good showers, but with a coin. Invited by other campers for coffee or drinks. Much appreciated by us as cycling vacation cyclists. Close to the center and in fine weather swimming in the canal near the center.
