We booked Du Rivage because it has such high ratings on ACSI. When we arrived, however, we were disappointed. There were only three water faucets for the entire campground, each with a push button at knee height, so you’re constantly forced to stand in an uncomfortable position.
There are no vegetable washing stations—hot water is only available at the dishwashing area or in the restroom building near the toilets. This also applies to hand washing.
You have to carry the trash bins up the stairs to empty them. There’s no ramp to roll them up.
The Wi-Fi simply doesn’t work at all, contrary to what everyone describes.
It was extremely hot, and the shaded spot next to us became available. We couldn’t move over there—it had been reserved. But that wasn’t the case; last-minute campers showed up twice.
We don’t really understand where the high rating comes from.

Great stay with a spot overlooking the sea, small but very clean restroom facilities, a wonderful welcome, and a super convenient location
. The pool is spacious and spotless.

We spent a weekend in a 5-person tent.
It was very clean and functional, with everything we needed. It got very hot inside the tent, but the fan was a big help.

The staff is very friendly, and the food truck serves good pizza and appetizer platters. Lots of games for the kids.

The biggest downside is the pool deck, which was covered in splinters that we had a hard time removing.
There’s access to the river right across the road, but there’s no beach.

Very quiet and clean

Everything was perfect—we really liked it. The rooms were very comfortable and had everything we needed. I was impressed by the kitchen with its dishwasher, and I really liked the shower, which is a spa-style stall. The pools are shallow, and quite a few are small, but everything is very well thought out for the kids. The staff are all very kind and friendly—really great people. Most importantly, they allow pets, and I was really touched that they provided my dogs with a little bed, their own food and water bowls, plus a little bag with some treats and a bag for picking up their waste—such a thoughtful touch. It’s very peaceful there; the restaurant is pretty good. The beach is a few kilometers away—that’s the downside—and even more so if the east wind picks up, but despite everything, we had a very comfortable stay. We’ll definitely be back.

A very clean resort. We stayed in a beautiful farmhouse with a fenced-in backyard. The resort is very clean, and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Plus, everything is very child-friendly. Highly recommended for young families!

We stayed here with our RV on the campground using the ACSI Card. Based on the website, we had higher expectations. There were very few water taps, and many facilities looked like they’d seen better days. The lounge chairs by the pool/beach were dirty (and they actually charge for them). And many other things just look “a bit off.” It’s also quite odd that the RV service area has a dog shower but no place to clean your chemical toilet.
All in all, we had a fine stay, but the website gives a different impression.

We came to stay at the castle for one night. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t great, but in the end, that allowed us to have a wonderful time as a family.
The highlights: a warm welcome, a superb pool, a very enjoyable private hot tub, a magnificent setting, and absolute tranquility.
Any downsides? Honestly, we didn’t find any!
We’ll be happy to come back for a longer stay. Thank you for this wonderful break filled with relaxation and warmth.
