Really lovely relaxed campsite. Bar had a great friendly vibe, lots of good entertainment. We loved the magician. Pool was small but functional. Lack of shade or seating around it though. Facilities were clean and worked well. Bike hire was easy. It isnt close to anywhere else, so cant stroll into town. Needed a bike or had to drive. However cycling was fun. Be warned access to Saumur was via a steep downhill, so hard work cycling back up. We really enjoyed our stay here, and would come back.

Poor cleaning. Sites are either very small or very large.

4 star campground on paper however 2-2.5 stars in practice. Think of a 90's campsite because the facilities are not what you should expect anno 2024. Pitches are poorly maintained, bushes are not trimmed, power poles are stuck together with duct tape and we had to lay our power cable over a walkway ... Sanitary facilities are not optimal, shower more often lukewarm/cold than good, toilets are sometimes really dirty and at 06.00 in the morning cleaning begins already where they often clean during rush hours ... I have to do with the cleaners because d'r walk around here greaseballs! Vuilniswagen also comes 2 times a week by ...08.15 hours so the whole campsite is immediately awake. Store is not much, fresh bread is better at the local bakery. The rectangular pool is very dated, looks murky, tiling is broken in many places in short, does not invite. Are there any pluses? Yes, the swimming pond is nice and refreshing and the pitches offer enough shade. In short, if you have few demands or expectations and a limited vacation budget then this campsite is an option for families. Perhaps we are too spoiled but promising 4 stars brings with it obligations and unfortunately camping 3-lacs-du-soleil cannot live up to them.

Very nice environment for nice biking, lots to do for children and a lovely beach and swimming in the Regge.

Very nice campsite, Rob and Gemma's welcome is great. The meals in the pub are copious and very good, as are the breakfasts. A very good address.

Park is nicely set up, but they are the heledag to mow grass so rest is not find and beds are very weak mattresses and decking for cottage must be careful not to get splinters in feet so do not walk with bare feet

This campsite has a bit of a bad rep on Google reviews and after booking a weeks stay we were a little nervous! However I also read reviews on a few other sites and found them more positive, one especially explaining that you really have to understand the campsite in order to enjoy it - cryptic I know! Luckily the reviews were on the whole a lot more dramatic than the reality. We had a wonderful stay, staff were welcoming (even after my son threw up at reception upon arrival), the site is BEAUTIFUL and has everything we needed for our 3 and 8 year old to have the best week. My eldest loved the kids club and made friends which made things easier for the adults! my youngest loved all the pools and big slide. For the size of the site the restaurant needs more staff to make it run a bit smoother. We were told a lot of the pizzas were off the menu but on probing we got both options we liked, not sure how or why?! The location is great, there is a big hypermarket about 15 minutes away which was a nice escape into air con for an hour. Other than that we stayed by the pool, enjoyed the ever so French entertainment - karaoke, dancing and games.

Fine locations, neat tent, nice that much is ready (bbq, wood, tennis rackets etc)

Couldn't come, tiny house reserved via an application from a private individual who supposedly rents out his tiny houses, total scam, no reservation actually exists, cancellation. The campsite should rent directly and check the seriousness of what goes on inside this place. Several of us have been duped They take advantage of the photos of the campsite , nice view etc , too bad
