Were on the camper place at the beginning of the campsite, there is worked hard to have everything ready on time all sanitary buildings are open and there is well maintained several times a day there is cleaned the reception can be a little stiff but that depends on who is sitting there is of course french do not understand everything immediately In short we will definitely come back again

Beautiful camping everything well taken care of

We stayed here in our campervan for 6 nights in May and although it rained a bit the campsite is fantastic. It's independent and the owners are brilliant and can't do enough for you. There's a restaurant on site which is very good and well worth a visit.

Beautifully situated campsite. Unfortunately it rained really hard during the time we were here. Would love to come again.

Great experience at this campsite. I spent two nights up there to avoid the rain during a bike trip. Because of the wind my tent turned over several times and the sardines flew away. They quickly rehoused me in other accommodation and, given the situation, made a commercial gesture without me having to ask for anything. Thanks again!

We have been camping for over 50 years but never had such friendly and helpful campground owners than Brenda and Tony. Nothing was too much for them. And on top of that it was a cute little and cozy campground. We wish you all the best.

Campground near city of Leeuwarden. The beginning of the campsite (say half) are mobile homes with complete gardens with fences. On the island is camping for caravans and campers (mixed together). Also, half year places are mixed with caravan and campers. Sanitary facilities are clean. Standard spots are with 4 ampere electricity, you can buy more ampere. You stand tight to your neighbor but lots of freedom to the front. You stand in a very large grassy field in a circle or by the water. Unfortunately no play area / sandbox for the children on the fields. No mandatory positioning of the caravan or camper. During Pentecost the big slide at the play pond was out of order. Water in the play pond stank terribly, dirty sludge on the beach. So we did not use it. 2 kilometers away is a pond at "the green star" and there you can swim and play nicely. Staff is super friendly. Restaurant highly recommended (fine prices). Next to the campsite is aqua zoo Leeuwarden. Camping was full, but there was little to notice in terms of noise. Silent at night. We have had nice days at the campsite.

Beautiful terrace, children play wonderfully and safely. Extensive menu. Delicious dishes.

Very spacious campsite on a small lake. The sanitary facilities are clean and spacious. There is a small match area, a playground and a large bouncy cushion. So it's great here with children. It's great for hiking and exploring the beautiful countryside.

Crazy campsite! For us still in the start-up phase. The access road could use some resurfacing. Your shock absorbers are going. And you can clearly see from the finish of the mobile homes still need some attention. Enclosure of the undercarriage and a terrace attached would certainly not be out of place. Stream has been clapping out every so often for 2 days. Toilet room not particularly clean. Price-wise you may not expect more either. Staff very nice.
