Liked: Outstanding site set in amazing grounds of a forest everything you need is on site.... restaurant, supermarket, swimming pools and amazing staff could not fault it will definitely be back for longer next time.

Very decent campsite with pleasant staff. The town is a 20-minute walk away.|Spacious pitches and a beautiful view of the castle.|Very clean sanitary facilities, but garbage garbage cans are needed.

Liked: The lake side beach and slides were great, as was the on-site play park and water park for children. Our children overall had a fun time. Good location for getting to Brugge and Ghent. The people working there in reception, and the cleaning staff, were all very kind and friendly. Disliked: This is not a site I would recommend for people camping with a tent. The basic facilities for camping were not there- charging for phones, and a place for ice blocks, for example. The shower and toilet blocks were inadequate for the number of people on site, queue of up to 15 minutes a time during busy periods. The washing up area smelled terrible, although they had someone unblocking the drains to resolve this the smell came back within less than 24 hours. The tent pitches are right by the busy restaurant and park area, and because they had an arcade set up it had a pulsating noise and this would carry on getting louder and busier until 11pm. Due to this we requested a different pitch but the only place they could accommodate was a grass area behind the toilet block. Whilst they were accommodating in a sense of allowing us to move, this wasn’t a pitch, as such we payed full price for the luxury of being in a car park behind the toilets. The restaurant on site was expensive for what was essentially frozen food (3 frozen pizzas, portion of chips and 4 drinks were €60). It wasn’t clear to us on the photos that this would be more like a holiday resort rather than a campsite. Unless being in an area where people drinking and smoking whilst listening to drum and bass arcade music is your thing, don’t book.

Liked: Even though we arrived quite late at the campsite, we were immediately made to feel incredibly welcome. The owners kept their kitchen open late to ensure we had something to eat from their homely restaurant. The ribs were delicious along with the local Luxemburg wine and beer. The showers though not super modern were the best showering experience we had this 3 week trip. We were only passing through making our way to the ferry back to the UK but will definitely be back! Thank you for the best overnight stay in your beautiful part of the world.

The site is welcoming and very scenic overall, but the gravel paths, which were all around our pitch, were constantly driven over by electric buggies, cars, mobile homes and caravans all day/evening, churning up dust and deafening any conversation you are having. If you fancy trying camping in the middle of the M25 you might enjoy this - we did not. Coupled with hedgecutting all day around our pitch made for an irritating 2 day stay. We didn't fancy using the toilets and shower block as they were not clean. Sorry but we won't be returning here.

Liked: We stayed for 4 nights and absolutely loved this site. The location is fantastic so much to do in the area, and it’s a beautiful part of the world. The pitches were level and spacious. The facilities were very clean and tidy - toilets, showers and washing up area. Nice little pool to cool off in and a play area with swings, trampoline and a sandpit for the children. The owners were lovely and spoke good English. There is a bar and restaurant, we didn’t use them but they seemed very popular. I liked the chilled out vibe of the site and it felt very safe. Point to note is the electric hook ups are the traditional / old French 2 pin so an adaptor is needed, we had one with us, a couple on the pitch next to us didn’t but the owners had one they borrowed to hook their camper van up with Disliked: Pool area could have done with a little updating

More than a tent is a super accommodation complete with everything even a cleaning kit and games . Everything really clean and new beautiful

Overcrowded, expensive and noisy

The location is very nice, but the walls are very thin and hard to hear.

The employees do their best. However, for me the campsite does not meet some basic requirements. For example, there is constantly a penetrating sewage smell around our tent, there is a lot of noise into the night (also due to parties across the campsite, but certainly also from the campsite itself). Furthermore, there are many sloppinesses that can be considered teething problems, such as the toilets that you can hardly get into because the door is in the way when it is open and where there is a stupid toilet paper dispenser that does not give toilet paper. The campsite can't actually cope with the amount of guests, so there are often queues at toilets, showers, service desk, activities and the café. The walks and brochures of activities offered by the campground are also limited or brief in explanation. The pool is fine, but cramped and therefore quickly filled. The little river is nice and there are quite nice things to do in the area. I expect that this place with potential will quickly become a real transit campground. In any case, I found it unworthy of Huttopia. I can imagine that the people in the bungalows or glamping tents have a different image of the campsite.
