Baalse HeiThe tranquility, the environment / nature, nice that we immediately after asking 2 sun loungers and umbrella at the cottage were delivered, delicious cuisine in restaurant, friendly staff both at reception, restaurant / bar and logistics / handymen, by hedges really do feel of privacy. Very nice that there were 2 showers and 2 toilets! Play paradise for children. If possible we will gladly return next year!

De rust, de omgeving/natuur, leuk dat we meteen na vragen 2 ligstoelen en parasol aan het huisje kregen geleverd, lekkere keuken in restaurantje, vriendelijke medewerkers zowel bij onthaal, restaurant/bar als bij logistiek/klusjesmannen, door haagjes echt wel gevoel van privacy. Zeer fijn dat er 2 douches en 2 toiletten aanwezig waren! Speelparadijs voor kinderen. Indien mogelijk komen we volgend jaar met plezier terug!

Feather Down Upper Shadymoor FarmWe absolutely loved our stay here. The farm was fantastic and a total switch of from busy life. The hoses Kevan and Joy were super helpful and friendly and we cannot fault their hospitality. If you stay the water package is an absolute must as it is brilliant for adults and kids (ours are 2/4 years).

Camping Le CanigouWe spent 2 weeks at Le Canigou. A great campsite until 9:30 at night, with lots of activities (for teenagers), with or without charge. A lovely swimming lake and great location. Every evening around 9:30 many teenagers gather at the beach and sometimes with loud music, a lot of shouting and noise is made. Sometimes until 1 am. Although the campsite owner claims to be very strict we have not seen any evening controls. Very unfortunate for the quiet, especially since there is a special hangout area for young people in the front of the campsite (but they don't go there because something is organized for parents next door). Definitely not worth repeating.

We zijn 2 weken op Le Canigou geweest. Tot half 10 s avonds een fantastische camping, met veel activiteiten (voor tieners), al dan niet tegen betaling. Een heerlijk zwemmeertje en prima locatie. Elke avond rond half 10 verzamelen veel tieners zich bij het strandje en wordt soms met harde muziek, veel geschreewd en lawaai gemaakt. Soms tot 1 uur. Hoewel de camping eigenaar zegt zeer streng op te treden hebben we geen enkele avond controles gezien. Erg jammer van de rust, vooral omdat er voor op de camping een speciale hangplek voor jongeren is (maar daar gaan ze niet zitten, omdat ernaast iets voor de ouders wordt georganiseerd). Zeker niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

Camping Le Coin TranquilleFor us 1st time staying in a safari tent with private bathroom, also 1st time summer vacation in France. The stay in the safari tent was very good, very clean, spacious and everything available. Beautiful green, very clean campsite, nice pool, friendly staff. Compliment to the cleaners of the safari tent: our opposite neighbors left after a week (we left after 10 days), this allowed us to see how the tent was cleaned (sat on the porch). With 3 people the tent was completely cleaned, they spent over an hour. Everything was taken away, also the kitchen was completely cleaned, including kitchen inventory, this was all washed, the refrigerator was defrosted and cleaned inside and outside. Vacuuming floors inside and outside + mopped, BBQ was cleaned. It was all done thoroughly and not rushed off, they took their time.

Voor ons 1e keer verblijf in een safaritent met eigen sanitair, ook 1e keer zomervakantie in Frankrijk. Het verblijf in de safaritent is zeer goed bevallen, heel netjes, ruim en alles aanwezig. Mooie groene, zeer nette camping, mooi zwembad, vriendelijk personeel. Compliment voor de schoonmaaksters van de safaritent: onze overburen vertrokken na een week (wij na 10 dagen), hierdoor konden wij zien hoe de tent werd schoongemaakt (zaten op de veranda). Met 3 personen werd de tent helemaal schoongemaakt, ze zijn ruim een uur bezig geweest. Alles werd afgenomen, ook de keuken werd helemaal schoongemaakt, incl. keukeninventaris, dit werd allemaal afgewassen, de koelkast werd ontdooid en aan de binnen- en buitenkant schoongemaakt. Stofzuigen vloeren binnen en buiten + gedweild, BBQ werd schoongemaakt. Het werd allemaal grondig gedaan en niet afgeraffeld, ze namen er de tijd voor.
