Camping de ThoisseyNote: this campground does not have its own pool/ the municipal pool present is (too) often closed: opening hours 14-19 h on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons. and all afternoons during the summer school vacations (but that was not the first week of July...). Well free (with daily ticket to be collected) for camping visitors, the pool is very large and deep, with hot water, atmospheric (no sunbeds) and swimming shorts not allowed. Large children's pool and 2 lifeguards. We have been 2 times. We stayed there 6 days, and used the smaller sanitary building which is better. The bakery in the nice village of Thoissey is 5 min cycling on the bike path at the bottom of the road. Nice cycling in 75 min to Macon and also 75 min the other way to authentic Villefranche. Nice legal swimming lake on other side of river next to Peage at Macon! Cluny is 40 min drive, return via Moulin a Vent is very nice (1 hour). Minus points: the large sanitary building had no electricity for 5 days due to lightning (...), there were also missing garbage cans here so food leftovers, empty toothpaste tubes etc by guests were left in the sinks ... The reception is quite a long walk from the sanitary building, better by bike! The young staff is very friendly, they also speak English. Bit too expensive also for a campsite without a daily pool, and without wifi on the spot (though at reception), and with the outdated plumbing. But all in all a pleasant and quiet campsite. The freely selectable spots are nice.

Let op: deze camping heeft geen eigen zwembad/ het aanwezige gemeente zwembad is (tè) vaak gesloten: openingstijden 14-19 u op woensdag, zaterdag en zondagmiddag. en alle middagen tijdens de zomer- schoolvakantie (maar dat was nog niet de eerste week van juli..) Wel gratis (met dagelijks af te halen kaartje) voor campingbezoekers, het bad is erg groot en diep, met warm water, sfeerloos (geen ligbedden) en zwemshorts niet toegestaan. Groot kinderbad en 2 badmeesters. We zijn 2 x geweest. Wij verbleven er 6 dagen, en gebruikten het kleinere sanitair gebouw dat beter is. De bakker in het aardige dorpje Thoissey is 5 min fietsen over het fietspad onder langs de weg. Mooi fietsen in 75 min naar Macon en ook 75 min de andere kant op naar het authentieke Villefranche. Lekker legaal zwemmeertje aan andere zijde van rivier naast Peage bij Macon! Cluny is 40 min rijden, terugweg via Moulin a Vent is erg mooi (1 uur). Minpunten: het grote sanitairgebouw had door bliksem 5 dagen geen stroom (…), er misten hier ook prullenbakken waardoor etensresten, lege tandpastatubes etc door gasten in de wasbakken werden achtergelaten… De receptie is best ver lopen vanaf het sanitairgebouw, beter met de fiets! De jeugdige staf is bijzonder vriendelijk, ze spreken ook Engels. Beetje te duur ook voor een camping zonder dagelijks zwembad, en zonder wifi op de plek (wel bij receptie), en met het verouderde sanitair. Maar al met al toch een prettige en rustige camping. De vrij te kiezen plekken zijn fijn.

Super Ort für einen Familien Urlaub. Bauer Jan und Bäuerin Ella erklären alles und stehen jederzeit zur Verfügung. Die Führung wird zweisprachig durchgeführt und der Indoor Spielplatz lädt ein zum verweilen. Zum Meer sind es 10-15 Minuten mit dem Rad und zu den Restaurants und Supermärkten ebenfalls.

Camping Le Bois de la GachèreHello, I have just spent 4 nights in a mobile home. Very clean and well appointed. Very comfortable. Discreet. In the woods. Friendly and welcoming owners. Close to beaches and towns to discover. Small restaurant on site at ec with plenty of choice and a young, dynamic team. I highly recommend it and wish the whole team a great season.

Bonjour, je viens de passer 4 nuits dans un mobilhom. Très propre et très bien aménagée. Tout confort. Discret. Dans les bois. Patrons gentils et accueillants. Proche des plages et villes à découvrir. Petit restaurant sur place à ec du choix et une équipe jeune et dynamique. Je recommande vivement et bonne saison à toutes l'équipe.

Hier met tt weekend geweest. Leuke camping met genoeg faciliteiten voor kinderen. Zou niet aanraden om met tt weekend hier te komen met kinderen maar derest van het jaar zeker. Mooie locatie alles op de fiets te doen Tot volgend jaar!

Campeggio Gasparina2023 still top. Now new owner. 50 euros for one person and a tent. Simply doubled... But then also offers more, the space and the facility is the same as in 2023. Unfortunately now crammed with mobile homes. ATTENTION: Environmental tax is such nonsense. Although the pitch is not even a third full, it is super annoying and too loud due to employees driving around (lawnmowers/tractors/other vehicles. Sorry but take care of the pitch before the season or don't take 50 Eur. And explain to your employees that they shouldn't stop in front of the tent before 8 a.m. to have a chat first.

2023 noch Top. Jetzt neuer Eigentümer. 50 Euro für eine Person und ein Zelt. Einfach mal verdoppelt... Dann bietet aber auch mehr, der Platz und die Anlage ist die selbe zu 2023. Leider mittlerweile vollgestopft mit Mobilheimen. ACHTUNG ABZOCKE: Umweltsteuer so ein Blödsinn. Platz ist obwohl er nicht mal zu ein drittel gefüllt ist, super nervig und zu laut durch herum fahrende Mitarbeiter (Rasenmäher/Traktor/anderweitige Fahrzeuge. Sorry aber kümmert euch um den Platz vor der Saison oder nehmt keine 50 Eur. Und erklärt euren Mitarbeitern das sie vor um 8 Uhr nicht vor dem Zelt stehen bleiben sollten um erst mal ne Runde zu quatschen.

Camping La ChiocciolaWe were received very hospitably at this campsite and in the pool and could choose our own pitch. (A Dutch speaking employee). There are 6 and 12 amp connections available. We stayed at this campground for 5 nights, but for a longer stay this campground is excellent. Very spacious places for your caravan, tent, camper around 100 m2. Each spot has its own sink with tap. Ideal. It is quiet and lots of grass and trees on the spots and whistling birds. Always enough places also with lots of shade if you want this. Toilets and shower room excellent. Always hot water and showering without Washing machines available. A beautiful swimming pool with plenty of sunbeds. A very large children's play pool, a 25 meter and 30 meter deep pools. There is a bar in the campground. The store is not in operation due to problems with tenant last year. The owner now operates the campground himself again. Hopefully the store can be back in operation. Anyway, there is a Coop store in the village. Also fine. This campground invites you to make trips to e.g. Arezzo, Florence, Siena etc., but also to relax. From the campsite you can walk straight into the woods.

Wij werden zeer gastvrij op deze camping en in het zwembad ontvangen en konden zelf onze kampeer plek uitzoeken. (Een Nederlands sprekende medewerkster). Er zijn 6 en 12 ampère aansluitingen aanwezig. Wij staan voor 5 nachten op deze camping, maar voor een langer verblijf is deze camping uitstekend geschikt. Hele ruime plekken voor je caravan, tent, camper rond de 100 m2. Iedere plek heeft een eigen wasbak met kraan. Ideaal. Het is rustig en veel gras en bomen op de plekken en fluitende vogels. Altijd genoeg plekken ook met veel schaduw als je dit wilt. Toiletten en doucheruimte uitstekend. Altijd warm water en douchen zonder muntjes.Wasmachines aanwezig. Een prachtig zwembad met genoeg ligbanken. Een heel groot kinderen speel bad, een 25 meter en 30 meter diepe baden. Er is een bar op de camping. De winkel is door problemen met pachter vorig jaar niet in bedrijf. De eigenaar exploiteert nu zelf weer de camping. Hopelijk kan de winkel weer in bedrijf. Sowieso is er een Coop winkel in het dorp. Ook prima. Deze camping nodigt uit om uitstapjes te doen naar bijv. Arezzo, Florence, Siena etc., maar ook om er lekker te vertoeven. Vanaf de camping loop je zo het bos in.
