Great area! We would love to come back

We stayed at Borked am See for a week with our family. We enjoyed our stay overall. The safari tent we stayed in was clean and well maintained (although I suspect it was new for the season). The camping site is spacious and clean as well. Lots of playgrounds, great for the kids. There's an outdoor swimming pool which is rather small given the size of the campsite. It's quite busy on hot days and there's not a lot of room. The nearby lake is another option however, calling it a lake is quite generous, it's more like a big pond. The water is rather muddy which makes swimming not so enjoyable. There's also a 'bistro' which serves both the campsite and visitors to the lake, honestly, just skip the place. The food is pretty terrible. You can pick up bread in the morning, but this is limited to kaiser rolls and plain white rolls which they receive prebaked and finish in an onsite oven. Cars aren't allowed on the campsite to make it more kid friendly, yet we saw several of them drive around during our stay. The same goes for noise rules. It's supposed to be quiet at 22.00 but it wasn't during our stay. Camping staff simply doesn't enforce these rules. Overall, I'd say this campsite lacks a certain atmosphere. In Dutch we'd say it's not really 'gezellig' which is a concept that's hard to translate to any other language. I don't know if it's the pitches being miles apart or the generally 'forced hospitality' demeanour of the staff, probably a combination of factors. We wouldn't return here in the future.

Beautifully located, cottage was fine. Swimming pool as well.

Small scale of the park, recreation park and accommodation (safari tent xl) was very nice, just that extra when it comes to dishwasher and space and entertainment for the kids! Customer service really top, well helped, thinking in solutions fine! Were even called by the park if they missing my daughter's toy, could send!

Nice location, beautiful cottage

unfortunately I must here a less good review about the plumbing at the campsite where campers make use of.it is old dating from the 80s. number of doors did not close. morning always cold, water shower drains did not run or poorly, no hook or rack to put your stuff on, bottom 3 rows of tiles in the showers were dirty from the soap and limescale which was also on the doors.

The park has a very nice location, is very clean The reception at the front desk by the gentleman is as a guest should expect. Lots of warmth and willing to do anything. Has good tips about the area, takes his time and wants to arrange everything well for the guest. Top! Fam. Eisimg. Bungalow 82

Close to the center of Blanes and the beach. Beautiful pools and camping is very neatly maintained.

Nice campsite. Quiet, just have to look carefully because of registration. Don't expect to be at the pool for that.

A Fuir mais vraiment fiez vous aux commentaires ne faites pas la même erreur que nous alors oui il est à deux pas de la plage c le seul point positif de ce camping sinon rien ne va et comme le dit les autres commentaires les français sont absolument rejetés dans ce camping on n'est pas les bienvenue c'est un camp de gitans espagnols sa n'est en rien un camping mais vraiment pas d'animations pas d'ambiances ils ont tous les droits par contre les touristes ne peuvent faire rien Move on, there's much better out there, that's for sure, especially as the price is high for what it's worth. Good luck to those who take the risk of going there with children who are old enough to go alone to the City stadium playgrounds and others, they're going to make life miserable for them it's really unfortunate and small detail and not from the least they are completely rascist 😞😞😞
