Superb location, incredibly beautiful campsite. Always try to get a spot right by the sea. Also the surroundings, almost everything is good to cycle on e-bike. Plan your walks at low tide, then in many places you can walk on the beach or rocks every time! Highly recommended!!!

I have stayed there via AirBnB, be careful, the place is full of over charge surprises that are mentioned in the little prints only and not while reserving the place, AVOID !

Nice little campground, large sites with a nice green grassy area. Water and electricity at the place. Despite the much rain that came down the places were still dry. There is almost always a breeze so with warm weather also pleasant. Friendly owners and very helpful. They have sandwich service, petting zoo and fun playgrounds. Highly recommended!!!!

What a nice place. Wonderful for little ones! Fun hiking and biking and beach a little further away is great for playing.

Wonderful waterfront location. Plenty of seating. Excellent menu. I was here as a special wedding officiant and what a beautiful place to say yes to each other. Really beautiful.

We had a very nice vacation in Friesland. The park is not too big and all facilities (such as supermarket) are close by in Akkrum. The six-person cottage was nicely located by the water and was spacious. We had some start-up problems including a clog in the drain and broken chairs but this was quickly taken care of by the park. The park is noisy and you get everything from the neighbors if they make a bit more volume than average. However, at the times when it is quiet, you can hear the water and the birds, so you really unwind.

We camped there during a Harley event which was in 1 word great! The location is great, nice by the water, beautiful surroundings. Owner Douwe did a great job. Fine showers and very clean toilets that were kept clean even with the event. Compliments to the entire entourage.

The campsite is in a good location, the pitches are right by the river and it is quiet. Thanks to the free public transport and the bus stops right outside the campsite, you can get anywhere without a car. Very dog-friendly, good restaurant and delicious beers. The sanitary facilities are clean and well maintained. We felt very comfortable here.

We just ate there. Good price and delicious food. Cozy atmosphere even though it was busy.

A very warm welcome, a pleasant campsite located just a few minutes from the center. Well-maintained bungalow, heated indoor pool. A pleasant family stay.

We arrived late in the evening after a long drive with two small children, a dog and no reservation and were greeted in a very friendly manner. The nice lady first showed us to a pitch at the front of the site so that we could arrive and get a good night's sleep. We were then allowed to complete the formalities in peace the next day. Then we were allowed to choose the best pitch from a range of pitches and change our parking space. The site is wonderfully shaded by pine trees. There is a great swimming pool, even for very small children. The sanitary facilities are very spacious and clean. There is a nice playground and free dog waste bags on site. There is a small store where you can buy all sorts of things in the morning as well as delicious baguettes and croissants. The staff are all really nice and helpful. Definitely worth a recommendation!!!
