Lost Cost is a great place to stay with kids. Fine tents but above all an incredibly sweet farmer's wife/farmer (and daughters) who make every day a party for the kids. What hard workers!!! Our kids thoroughly enjoyed all the animals, the forest rides, the lessons and helping on the farm. They felt very safe all week and made many friends! Dancing around the camp grounds! With oven-baked pizza and Italian scoop ice cream as a plus. Thank you Sherman and Annemarie!

A great site, that we’d happily return to. We had a pitch on veld (field) A. Close to the main area of the site, including the pool, bar, playground, tennis court, and restaurant. Shower block in veld A was always clean and never any queues. Showers were free, with a six minute timer for hot water. Swimming pool was heated, this took the edge off and meant later in the day it was pleasant to swim in, the kids happily swam in it all day. Staff were friendly, with excellent English. Food in the cafe and restaurant was good and reasonably priced. No shop on site, but Doorn was five minutes drive away and had decent supermarkets.

The location is very nice. We were very happy with our house and the area. In general a very nice park

Very well maintained campsite, spacious and clean sanitary facilities, restaurant and an incredible snack store where you can find everything. Well done to the managers and great visits to the town, especially to the Battle of the Bulge museum.

Great spot near Centre of Ootmarsum. One huge very clean building with toilets and showers (you need to use a rechargeable coin for hot water). Plenty of activities for kids and a great restaurants with a view on the pool and playground. Pits vary from quite to cozy and lively, little playgrounds are scattered around the camping and pits.

Great for the kids

It's more of a marina, not a campsite...in the tiny wagon no. 10 it was okay in terms of cleanliness...unfortunately a lot of spiders and mosquitoes from dusk... in any case close all windows then it works...first night was horror spider night😳 There is a supermarket around the corner otherwise you can't buy anything to eat there... Visitors to the yacht emptied their toilet bins in the only toilet at the back in the ladies' toilets although there is a separate room for this...I was speechless🤬 We went to Amsterdam by car...the city center is easy to reach by rental bike... But we definitely had our peace and quiet...

Super campsite nestled under magnificent, gigantic pine trees. Very quiet and pedestrianized, which is safe for children who like to ride their bikes. Very pleasant for children to ride their bikes. Friendly and helpful reception. The only drawback is the gate at the entrance to the campsite, which doesn't work. I recommend this campsite for nature lovers and relaxation enthusiasts.

Good playground. Nice location.

What a wonderful "escape" in our own country. Everything was there. Our favorite spot was the little island with the swing and hammock. The dome was fully equipped. The refrigerator was super nice to have. I enjoyed every walk to the 'kitchenette'. We would love to come back again. Tip: flannel fitted sheets (ikea)

We were very happy with everything. We had bought an e-copper for 2/12 hours and my son's battery ran out after 2 hours, so they gave us another 3/12 hours that day. That was great for the boys 👍👍
