Camping LoodsmansduinMy feedback on the Loodmansduin campground (Texel)
Unfortunately, I have to give a low rating; I would have preferred to give a higher one.
I’m giving it a 2.5 or a 3.
There are some downsides, but also some upsides.
And there are certainly some things that could be improved.
I hope you take this feedback seriously and don’t brush it off.
After all, you want to become and remain a good campground in the future.
Pros:
- The surroundings are beautiful and very peaceful, and it’s also a great campground for dogs—even though we don’t have a dog ourselves, that’s a nice bonus.
- Kudos on the cleanliness; the chalets were spotless.
- The Wi-Fi in the chalets and at the campground itself is excellent.
- It’s also a great spot for RVs and cars.
- Another plus is that there are plenty of restrooms, both at the campground and in the restaurant.
- It’s a good restaurant with great service, and it’s also a beautiful place.
- We didn’t use them, but it’s also a plus that there are washing machines.
Cons:
Unfortunately, there are also some downsides, which have more to do with the facilities that are missing at the campground.
- You can’t rent bikes at the campground; you have to walk 20 minutes to the nearest village, Den Hoorn, which isn’t very convenient. Apparently, bikes used to be available for rent at the campground. Additionally, the information in the chalets is outdated and needs to be updated. Furthermore, the location where the old bike rental used to be is now just a storage area for bikes.
Solution: Reintroduce a bike rental service on the campground itself.
- There’s no campground store on the campground, which isn’t very convenient; there used to be one there.
You have to fill out a sort of shopping list and then turn it in at the restaurant.
But they didn’t really explain where you could turn it in.
Solution: The campground should have a campground store again or a mobile campground store on wheels.
- I’m not sure, but there are no shower facilities at the campground.
Solution: There should be shower facilities or a mobile shower unit.
- The restaurant has limited hours.
Solution: Offer breakfast and lunch options at the restaurant as well.
- There used to be a snack bar at the campground.
Solution: Bring the snack bar back to the campground.

Mijn feedback over de camping Loodmansduin (Texel)
Helaas moet ik een laag beoordelingscijfer geven, ik had liever een hoger beoordelingscijfer willen geven.
Als beoordelingscijfer geef ik een 2,5 of een 3.
Er zijn wat minpunten maar ook wat pluspunten.
En ook zijn er wel wat dingen die verbeterd kunnen worden.
Ik hoop dat jullie de feedback serieus nemen en niet in de wind slaan.
Uiteindelijk wil je wel een goeie camping worden in de toekomst en blijven.
Pluspunten:
- De omgeving is mooi en biedt veel rust en is ook een goeie camping voor de hond, alhoewel wij zelf hebben geen hond, maar dat is mooi pluspunt.
- Mijn complimenten voor de schoonmaak, de chalets waren keurig schoongemaakt.
- De Wifi in de chalets en op de camping zelf is prima.
- Ook voor de campers en auto's is het een goeie plek.
- Ook een pluspunt is dat er genoeg toiletten zijn, zowel op de camping als in het restaurant.
- Het is een goed restaurant, goeie bediening en is ook een mooi restaurant.
- Wij hebben er geen gebruik van gemaakt, maar ook een pluspunt dat er wasmachine's zijn.
Minpunten:
Helaas zijn er ook wat minpunten, dat heeft meer met de faciliteiten te maken die missen op de camping.
- Op de camping kan je geen fietsen huren, dan moet je daarvoor 20 minuten lopen naar het dichtstbijzijnde dorp, Den Hoorn, niet echt handig gedaan, vroeger bleek dat er wel op de camping fietsen werden verhuurd. Daarbij is de informatie in de chalets verouderd en dat moet aangepast worden. Daarbij waar de oude fietsenverhuur was, is het nu een opslagplek met fietsen.
Oplossing: Dat er op de camping zelf weer een eigen fietsenverhuur komt.
- Op de camping is er geen kampeerwinkel, dat is niet zo handig, vroeger was er wel een kampeerwinkel op de camping.
Je moet een soort boodschappenlijst invullen en dan inleveren bij het restaurant.
Alleen werd er niet echt uitgelegd waar je het kon inleveren.
Oplossing: Dat er op camping weer een kampeerwinkel komt of een mobiele kampeerwinkel op wielen.
- Ik weet het niet zeker, maar op de camping is er geen douchegelegenheid.
Oplossing: Er zou een douchegelegenheid moeten komen of een mobiele douchegelegenheid.
- Het restaurant is maar beperkt open.
Oplossing: Biedt ook aan in het restaurant dat je er kan ontbijten of kan lunchen.
- Er was in het verleden ook een snackbar op de camping.
Oplossing: Breng de snackbar weer terug op de camping.
Ik hoop dat jullie wat aan de feedback hebben.

Huttopia Pays de Cordes sur CielI recommend it 100%—"Espectacular!!!!" as we say back home (5 adults, 2 from Bordeaux, 3 from Colombia)
*First and foremost, these 5 stars are all thanks to the staff*: Huttopia, you’re lucky to have such a team: a warm welcome, full of joy and good humor, and packed with tips on how to make the most of the region—it’s so nice to see such a dynamic and friendly team!!!, a special shout-out to Rafaël and Cristina (our favorite Brazilian) who already gave us such attentive hospitality last year, and a big thank you to Marine and the front desk and bar staff who were very responsive to our requests (offering to switch cabins, adding an extra night, and especially handling all our last-minute requests).
ABOUT THE CAMPSITE: It’s located in a little corner of paradise with an extraordinary 360° view, and our chalet had a direct view of Cordes-Sur-Ciel (Chalet Evasion Vista). The chalet is comfortable (not quite suitable for 5 adults, but that was our mistake). The pool is perfect, always at 28–30°, and well-maintained; the pizzas from Rafaël and Manon are delicious (thin, crispy crust, generously topped). Various games are available, which allowed us to enjoy some fun evenings (in addition to watching World Cup matches on the big screen).
A FEW SUGGESTIONS: The wooden deck is beautiful, but unfortunately we came back inside every time with splinters in our feet. Also, when the wind blows hard, the umbrellas blow away because they aren’t securely attached to their stands.
Some of the equipment could use a little refurbishment or reinforcement (umbrellas, outdoor chairs in the chalets, pétanque balls).
A huge thank you to the entire team—well done, and we wish you a wonderful summer season. We were already won over last year, and this year has only confirmed it: we’ll keep coming back (during the off-season for more comfort and peace and quiet).this is a translation, click here for the original

*Avant tout, ces 5 étoiles c'est grâce à l'équipe*: Huttopia vous avez de la chance d'avoir une tel équipe: accueil chaleureux, plein de joie et de bonne humeur, riche en renseignements pour bien profiter de la région, c'est tellement agréable de voir une équipe si dynamique et agréable!!!, petite mention spéciale pour Rafaël et Cristina (notre brésilienne préférée) qui déjà l'année dernière nous avaient offert un accueil aux petits soins, et grand merci à Marine et l'équipe de l'accueil et du bar qui ont été très réactifs face à nos demandes (proposition de changement de chalet, ajout d'une nuit, et surtout toutes nos commandes en décalé).
CONCERNANT LE CAMPING: il se trouve dans un petit coin de paradis avec une vue extraordinaire sur 360°, et notre chalet avec vue directe sur Cordes-Sur-Ciel (Chalet Evasion Vista). Le chalet est confortable (pas trop adapté pour 5 adultes, mais ça c'était notre erreur). La piscine est parfaite, toujours à 28-30°, bien entretenue, les pizzas de Rafaël et de Manon sont délicieuses (pâte bien fine et croustillante, bien garnies). Divers jeux sont à disposition ce qui nous a permis de passer des soirées sympathiques (en plus des projections des matchs de la coupe du monde sur grand écran).
PETITES SUGGESTIONS: la terrasse en bois est magnifique, mais hélas on est sorti à chaque fois avec les pieds plein d'échardes. Aussi, qd le vend souffle fort, les parasols s'envolent car pas bien fixées aux supports.
Certains équipements méritent un petit coup de neuf ou un petit renfort (parasols, chaise extérieures dans les chalets, boules de pétanque).
Grand grand merci à toute l'équipe, bravo à vous et on vous souhaite une belle saison d'été; nous avons été conquis déjà l'année dernière, cette année a été une confirmation: nous continuerons à venir (en basse saison pour plus de confort et de calme).Vindrac Alayrac in Occitanie
