The children have a great time and so do their parents! |Prima animation and activities for the children.|No cars at the campsite.|Borken center is within 10 minutes drive by car where all groceries can be done.|Nice clean outdoor pool where you can laze and swim with the kids.|Next to the campsite a nice lake where you can swim and walk around but also sports.

Liked: The proximity to the sea (15 min by bike) and the presence of a Carrefour supermarket just outside the campsite. Disliked: Upon our arrival at 8:30 p.m. (with a maximum arrival time of 9 p.m., so we were on time) we found the gate closed, and the only sign present was in Dutch. We are in France, I can already wrap my head around French, but Dutch! The pitch cost a lot of money and was very cramped, not much privacy. The next day we asked, as reported on the website, for rental bikes. The owner gave us a flyer saying that 200m to the right we would find the place that rented them. We went out in the hot sun, walked over 1 km, and found just one place that rents them electric and at twice the reported prices. Somewhat out of principle we decided to look for the ones in the flyer. I look on the directions and we have to walk 2 km in another direction. Conclusion? We finally called the local number and he brought them directly to us at the campsite. We wasted 1+ hours in heat that I cannot tell you. All this to say that the owner kind and all but had no idea what she was saying, gave us directions that were not reliable at all. I would have preferred honesty, i.e., that she did not know exactly.

We spent a wonderful 4 nights with our two teenage boys at Le Camp as part of a two week road trip in France. It was without doubt the highlight of our holiday. We chose the Massai Mara tent which meant our boys could have their own space in the adjoining bell tent. The accommodation and everything about Le Camp is so well designed - simple luxury in the most beautiful natural setting. The communal kitchen had everything we needed to self cater and there is a lovely relaxing semi-outdoor dining/ lounge space to hang out and chat to other guests if you feel like it. Claire and Nigel are the perfect hosts - they have thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as it could be and are on hand if you need them with recommendations on places to eat and local attractions. The natural pool was a real treat - swimming with frogs and dragon flies was definitely worth braving the cooler water! We had a fantastic day kayaking on the Averyon river - definitely go with Claire’s recommended company. We loved the Sunday market in St Antonin and our visit to the eclectic art collection at the magnificent Abbey de Beaulieu - all within a 15-20 minute drive. A fantastic holiday and one we hope we can repeat soon - definitely more to explore in this beautiful part of France and no better place to stay!

Beautiful campsite in the Appeldoorn region with pool, restaurant and lots of play areas for kids. Great cycle paths in the surrounding area right past the campsite.

Fine campsite. Just not always hot water.

Honestly, some of the reviews made me think about canceling the reservation, but I said take a chance and go for it.I found it to be a quiet, clean place, and the staff are nice.

A lot of waiting, we were served 3 times with a minimum 10-minute wait each time between the 3 services + 2 oversights and a drink that wasn't the one ordered. Where's the person in charge?

Unfortunately, we also booked with the previous owners. We went last year so we wanted to come back. We missed the activities terribly with 2 kids of 11 and 8. The mobile homes are in need of refurbishment there was much broken. Showers in this went from boiling hot to ice cold after 10 seconds. There was a very nice handyman who came quickly to fix the defects. At the reception, some work could be done on hospitality. Barely acknowledgement when you are at the front desk like an "I'll be right with you" while someone is sitting in front of you staring at a computer. When checking out it is cold and businesslike, purely focused on the outstanding bill. Location is otherwise beautiful but we will not return next year.

Welcoming friendly staff and nice facilities including washing up, water park, laundry and a sportshal.

We had the tent , beautiful , nice and clean, also the plumbing, definitely come back again.

After a week at the gîte, we're delighted with our stay! A very warm welcome, with children at the heart of the campsite's activities thanks to the mini farm and mini golf course, and a secure swimming pool. No vehicles in the accommodation, which made it easy for us to let the kids come and go. The shared sanitary facilities are spotlessly clean. Nathalie, Sven and their children are adorable and will welcome you with all their sympathy. Thank you for a great stay! ☺
