Veľmi čisté sociálne zariadenia v kempe San Marino Lopar, usilovné panie upratovačky, oceňujeme čistotu sociálnych zariadení, ako aj čistotu v celom kempe. Sprchy aj WC boli viackrát denne pedantne umývané, menovite by sme chceli pochváliť v časti Valamar 3 prácu paní upratovačiek Dragany, Branky a jeden deň aj prácu Tatiany a Andreja. Boli sme v kempe San Marino v Lopare, v karavanoch Gebetsroither v týždni 24.-30.augusta 2025. Ďakujeme za peknú dovolenku. Stretli sme sa len s ochotnými ľuďmi, aj na recepcii.

We stayed at the campsite for three weeks in 2025 and gained many positive, but also some negative impressions during this time. It is definitely advisable to be able to speak English, as hardly any German is spoken at reception. However, the staff were always friendly and helpful. On arrival, you are given a map of the site and can choose your pitch within the category you have booked. The pitches are very spacious and you can always get to the sea or the wash houses quickly. The cleanliness of the sanitary facilities is particularly noteworthy: as soon as you leave the toilet or shower, the cleaning staff are already cleaning up. Overall, the entire complex looks very modern, but a closer look reveals some shortcomings. There are stones in the pool area, which can cause tripping hazards. The lifeguards don't always seem attentive either, with the exception of the slide area, where there is good supervision. The aqua park itself is beautifully designed and you have a fantastic view from the infinity pool. With a bit of luck, you can always find a free lounger. However, we were surprised that the aqua park was closed for three days in the middle of the high season for maintenance work. Such work would be better carried out out of season or at least at night, unless there is an acute problem. On the positive side, sun loungers and parasols are also available free of charge on the beach. Even if there wasn't always something free immediately, there was always a place to be found during the course of the day. Despite the stony entrance, it is easy to get into the sea and the beach is very well laid out overall. The gastronomy offers a good selection, so there is something for every taste. Only the ice cream disappointed us, there is still room for improvement here. On the other hand, the wide range of sports on offer with a gym, paddle tennis, mini golf and much more is very positive. We parked our caravan near the soccer pitch and noticed that balls frequently flew against the caravan. It would make sense to raise the net a little higher here. Another big plus is the medical care on the pitch. After an allergic reaction to an insect bite, we were treated immediately in a friendly and competent manner. Although it is a private practice, so you have to pay directly on site, you receive a certificate for your health insurance and the costs are reimbursed without any problems. The supermarket is relatively small, but offers all the essentials for daily needs. However, the staff often seemed overwhelmed and were very slow. They were not very precise with the change, sometimes you got too little, sometimes too much and sometimes none at all. There were also problems when paying the final bill: Friends of ours had to run all over the place for 70 cents because the employee could neither round up nor give out matching coins. Little things like this should not be at the expense of the guests. Those who rely on stable internet also have to make compromises. Depending on the time of day, the Wi-Fi and mobile data didn't work at all, and it only slowly improved in the evening. We can highly recommend a trip to Pag and Zadar. Especially the ice cream in Pag is great. All in all, it is a very nice campsite with many amenities and a good overall impression, even if there are some points that could be urgently improved.

Shared facilities, particularly showers, toilets and sinks, very dirty and need a deep clean. Showers not great, needs an update. Good pool, leisure facilities and pizza place. Very close to city centre.

Campground with no grass with only mud. Santair 1 in 2 broken. Lots of noise by 'entertainment team' Staff service below par. Went to rent bikes at 11:50 one person before me checked in. When it was my turn I was allowed to come back at 13:30 because they didn't work after 12:00. Please avoid this campground!

Very well maintained campsite

We recently had a stay at Camping de Roos and overall we were satisfied, but there were some things that could be improved. Positives: The pitch was very good: spacious, neatly maintained and the nice thing was that we could choose where to place our caravan. This gave a sense of freedom and flexibility that we could really appreciate. The sanitary facilities were clean and well maintained and the park itself is nicely laid out, with lots of greenery and a pleasant atmosphere. Points of interest: Unfortunately, when we checked out, we had a small but annoying experience with the payment for the rented bikes. We had rented bikes for half a day and paid nicely in cash at the start. When we checked out, however, there was still an outstanding amount of 0.50 euros on our account. When I asked, this turned out to be for the bikes. The total amount of 20.75 euros suddenly became higher than expected, while we assumed that everything had already been paid. Although it was only 0.50 euro and I did not want to argue, I think this does not look professional. Clarity in payment could have prevented this. In addition, we were disappointed with the quality of the pizzas at the park. The sauce seems to come from a jar, the dough has little flavor and crumbles quickly. The children's pizza is extremely small - only about 10 cm - and the price difference of 2 euros compared to a normal pizza is disproportionate in our opinion. This could be better, especially considering the expectation of a vacation park. Conclusion: In terms of location, pitches and cleanliness, Camping de Roos is definitely recommended. For families looking for a pleasant environment and good facilities, the park is suitable. However, I would recommend paying extra attention to payment processing and the quality of food at the park. Small details, such as correct checkout and tastier dishes, make a big difference in the experience.

Upon arrival, we were warned to beware of splinters in the wooden deck around the pool. Yet when leaving the pool I got a large splinter in my foot. (2.5cm) So unfortunately the walks we had planned could not take place, so this was a setback. To end on a positive note: nice location and friendly staff. Tip: replace the terrace!!!

Campground located in a quiet area. Friendly owners. Stayed 1 night with the motorhome, allowed to pick our own spot in the circle. Clean and tidy plumbing.

Superb view in a quiet location

Now for the third season a pitch and like it better each time. Sanitary facilities are kept very clean. The restaurant options are varied and especially the grill restaurant has good food for the concept. We find the indoor playground a bit exciting for smaller children, but there are good alternatives. What is really stupid is that they are no longer reachable by phone, which is really irritating that you are saddled with an AI agent. As an additional service it would not be bad but no human telephone contact at all is just not service.

Just returned from 3 beautiful weeks of vacation. Friendly reception. It is a huge campsite but this is actually not noticeable because it consists of several fields in the woods. Beautiful, spacious places where we stood with electricity, water and drainage. In the time we have been there no comments on the toilet buildings good clean and tidy. Our children and grandchildren have visited and had a good time there is also plenty to do and experience. Self in the weeks we have over 400 km cycling in the beautiful surroundings through the woods and on the moors. Are there no comments for this campsite from us? The following we noticed that the campsite still needs to make a step forward in terms of modernity. Tokens vending machine to shower still with a ticket for the barrier to drive through this is no longer of this time. As already mentioned in several reviews no washbasins for the hands at the many toilet buildings. All in all cozy nice vacation. Definitely recommended for families. We have explored the whole area so as we always do we look for a different area next time.
