The campsite is car-free. Unfortunately, this is not clear on the website, as it says "one vehicle included" when you book the pitch. As we are here in the rain with a small tent, the site is unfortunately totally unsuitable. Only sleeping gear fits in our tent, we have to walk to the car for everything else. Motorhomes, campervans, motorcycles and cars with roof tents are allowed. Please indicate this more clearly before booking. We would then have chosen a different pitch.

Excellent stay! The staff are lovely, the campsite is clean and pleasant, and the countryside setting is just splendid. Our cottage was top-notch. It's a great place to recharge your batteries, and we'll leave with many happy memories!

Yes, but pay attention to a few things when planning. It's a rocky beach, so buy shoes for it. Otherwise, there's something for everyone.

Beautiful quiet campsite

We spend fantastic days here! The environment are unspeakably beautiful, vivid flowers and plants everywhere in the camp. Oh and the cats! We really loved them and enjoyed their company on our terrace :) The beaches are clean, there are child friendly shallow and natural rocky spots too. Our mobile house location was perfect for us, close to the wood and the sea, far from the busy central, thanks to pay attention to my reservation request! In the camp everything was well-organized, all of the stuff members were very friendly and helpful, fullfilled our requests immediately and take their job with honest smile - this means a lot for us! Highly recommend this place to visit if You can afford, althrough the price is not cheap the service are 5* without doubt.

We had a spacious vacation home which was quite attractively furnished. There was nothing wrong with the cleanliness. It was attractively furnished and was right on the water (inland water). The resort is quite remote. You have to take the car to Tholen (shopping) or to the beach. Unfortunately, the inland water had blue-green algae, which made swimming a little less fun, but that's not the resort's fault. We really enjoyed ourselves there. A small note for families with small children and primary school children: I don't think the resort is aimed at you. There is only a small playground, the inland water has blue-green algae, the beach at the resort is quite small and is located in the inland water. Most of the houses are right on the water (which I found really great), but you really have to keep an eye on your children at all times! The kitchen equipment is quite extensive in terms of crockery and cutlery, but apart from pots and pans (of course there is a stove, oven, kettle and capsule coffee machine) there is little else. Don't get me wrong. I thought the resort was great, the people are really friendly, I just want people to know who the resort is actually aimed at.

There is still much to be done to improve.. however, a nice place to spend a few days with family....

As already mentioned in some previous reviews, the accommodation in this park no longer seems to be in good condition. Our house 130 was definitely not cleaned, there was mold in the bathroom, door handles were loose and a lot of other things were broken and used up. No one from the management dealt with us and the ladies at reception tried their best. Nothing more. This was EuroParcs once and never again. Competitors such as CenterParcs are also much more straightforward and accommodating when it comes to compensation.

A rutted road to the municipal campsite. All you have to do is ask the municipal workers to fill them in, as the municipality of Rambouillet obviously doesn't have the means to redo the road. The campsite closes at 11 p.m., which is good to know when you arrive at midnight and your code no longer works. You then have to leave your car unattended in the middle of the forest, empty it and return to your pitch in the dark. The alternative is to sleep in the car, but for 36 euros a night that's a bit steep... otherwise it's fine...

The site is quite big, you have to like that. We've been to many campsites in Croatia, Italy, France, Austria etc. and this one is okay, we've had worse ones, but also much better ones. Our pitch was in the Lavanda area, the pitch was nice, big enough with a small tree and the sanitary building was clean and in good order. With the exception of the noise from the bar opposite in the evening, the area was also quite quiet in terms of car and e-scooter traffic. However, I can certainly understand the negative reviews about the one medical supply store, because you're afraid that the swallows will poop all over you while you're using the toilet. Nature conservation isn't an argument for me either, it's simply an unfavorable (too open) design. I also found the prices in the supermarket/restaurant quite high, but you know that from other places too. The beach areas are well-kept and spacious. Unfortunately, what disappointed us most was the access to the sea. The sea is the reason why we go to Croatia and we know that we can't expect sandy beaches here, but in this bay it was quite a climb despite wearing bathing shoes. Large sharp-edged rocks with gaps in between, so it was always a mixture of climbing & swimming. The water quality was good, but unfortunately the bay is quite dead, hardly any fish. We know this better from Croatia. To sum up, the one week was okay, but we won't be back.

Camping 🔝 in everything, very equipped and full of comfort. We were only guests for the descent to the sea, in Croatia, you can go to the beach where you want no one says anything, very correct and very hospitable.
