The cottage is certainly good for two people. Kitchen and utensils are fine. Personally, we would create more living space downstairs by exchanging the bed there for it. For older people the cottage will be a bit cumbersome and people in wheelchairs are actually not accessible. Environment, especially if one likes hiking, is fine. What is very disappointing is the possibility of having a cup of coffee somewhere "with something to eat". The score "bad" comes from the very bad experience, which we actually experienced the day after arrival, namely a burglary. Three cottages in a row were visited by, we suspect, someone from the cleaning, while this person had nothing to do in the house. We were walking the dog and that was the green light for the burglary and the theft of money, a bank card (twice used for groceries elsewhere) and an iPad (which is useless). However the whining afterwards (police/ blocking bank card/ official report/ and especially the lack of trust) put a severe damper on our remaining stay. In fact, we wanted to pick up right away, however that was delayed due to the police investigation. Subsequently, the feedback and notification of wanting to abort the week to "Belvilla" was totally unsuccessful because of he boorish answer: "Well, that could have happened to you at home". No, at "Belvilla" there was absolutely no understanding of the situation. As if we, when we leave, distribute our keys in multiples in the area with the message: "We are going away for a week". Het huisje is zeker voor twee personen goed. Keuken en keukengerei is prima. Zelf zouden we beneden meer leefruimte creëren door het bed aldaar ervoor in te ruilen. Voor oudere mensen zal het huisje wat behelpen zijn en mensen in een rolstoel zijn eigenlijk niet toegankelijk. Omgeving, zeker als men van wandelen houdt, is prima. Wat erg tegenvalt is de mogelijkheid om ergens eens een kop koffie te nemen “met wat erbij”. De score “slecht” komt voort uit de zeer slechte ervaring, die we eigenlijk direct de dag na aankomst ervoeren, te weten een inbraak. Drie huisjes op rij werden bezocht door, zo vermoeden wij, iemand van de schoonmaak, terwijl deze persoon niets te zoeken had in de woning. Wij warren aan de wandel met de hond en dat was groen licht voor de inbraak en de ontvreemding van geld, een bankpas (waarmee tweemaal boodschappen is gedaan elders) en een iPad (waar men dus niets aan heeft). Echter het gezeur daarna (politie/ blokkeren bankpas/ procesverbaal/ en vooral het gemis aan vertrouwen) heeft een zware domper gelegd op ons resterende verblijf. In feite wilden we direct oppakken, echter dat liep uit vanwege het politie-onderzoek. Vervolgens was de terugkoppeling en de melding van het willen afbreken van de week aan “Belvilla” totaal geen succes vanwege he t lompe antwoord: “Nou, dat had u thuis ook kunnen overkomen”. Nee, bij “Belvilla” was absoluut geen begrip voor de situatie. Alsof wij, wanneer we weggaan, onze sleutels in meervoud distribueren in de omgeving met de mededeling: “We gaan een weekje weg”. Het mag helder zijn, dat juist deze reactie van deze organisatie het leed alleen maar erger heeft gemaakt. Wim van Staveren Dronten
