Hop On Your Bike and Explore
Wilsumer Berge is surrounded by a beautiful natural area with various cycling and hiking trails. For avid cyclists, there are a total of 16 different cycling routes ranging from 22 to 56 kilometers in length. You'll ride along protected nature reserves, churches, monasteries, villages, and towns where you can take a peaceful break in one of the countless cafes and restaurants. The special cycling bus, departing from the campsite, can take you anywhere you want to go.

Spend a day visiting the animals at Tierpark Nordhorn or Wildlands Adventure Zoo in Emmen. Tierpark Nordhorn is a small-scale zoo, which gives it a cozy atmosphere. You can feed the animals together with the caretakers or pet the goats at the petting zoo. At Wildlands Adventure Zoo, you'll experience a safari-like feeling during the jungle expedition or the truck safari, where you'll encounter elephants, giraffes, and rhinos.
Discover What Nordhorn Has to Offer
Approximately 17 km from Wilsumer Berge is the town of Nordhorn. The center of Nordhorn is situated on an island surrounded by water, where you can enjoy shopping and find cozy eateries. Nordhorn is also known as a water city, and a great way to explore the town is by taking a boat tour on the Vecht River. Alternatively, you can be active and rent a water bike. Scale the castle walls and admire the beautiful view over the town. Discover Bad Bentheim at night and join the night watchman on a tour through the city. He will show you hidden spots and share fascinating stories while lighting the street lanterns of Bad Bentheim. Lastly, make sure to visit one of the Bentheim bakeries for a bag of Bentheim Mop cookies, a regional specialty.

Der Campingplatz ist wirklich schön. Die Gastronomie leider nicht. Getränke dauern ewig und das Personal ist sich nicht einig. Die Animation und Shows sind auf Holländisch was für die Kinder oft enttäuschend war. An der Beachbar waren die Getränke schon Monate abgelaufen. Auch nach Hinweis gab es keine neuen Getränke.

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal in kürzester Zeit auf dem Campingplatz Wilsumer Berge, weil es uns einfach unglaublich gut gefallen hat. Toller Stellplatz für unser WoMo (D1), sehr saubere Sanitäranlagen, super Minigolfparcours, süße Alpakas, toller See mit SUP Option. Super Programm für Groß und Klein, da auch Fahrradtouren und Wanderungen vor Ort möglich sind. Maik Engbers

Klassische Campingplatzregeln sind hier kaum zu finden. Der Nachbar der mehr Nebel mit seinem Grill macht als ne Grossraumdisco, teils laute Musik und spielende Kinder bis in die tiefe Nacht. Unsere Stellplatz musste von uns vor dem Aufbau erstmal 15 Minuten gereinigt werden. Sauberkeit so okay überall. 3 Duschen und Toiletten fürn paar hundert Camper is zu wenig. Besonderer Platz, keine Frage - Preis Leistung/Qualität eher schwach.

Es war unser erster Aufenthalt auf einem Campingplatz. Der erste optische Eindruck ist sehr ansprechend. Die gesamte Anlage wirkt auch auf den zweiten Blick durchweg gepflegt. Für die Kinder wird viel geboten. Gewohnt haben wir in einer naturlodge mit zwei Schlafzimmern. Alles ist sehr modern und sauber gehalten. Seifen und Shampoo wird vom Haus gestellt. Sehr gut 👍. Im Wohnzimmer und den Schlafzimmern gibt es separat einstellbare Lüftungen, sowie eine Rollbare klimaanlage 👍 Kritikpunkt: unglaublich unbequeme Matratzen. Hier liegt man quasi direkt auf Metallfedern und muss Angst haben, morgens Druckgeschwüre zu haben (80er Jahre Feeling wie bei Oma 😂)..... Also Vorwarnung: die Hütten sind teilweise modern mit schwarzen blechen verkleidet. Tagsüber laden diese sich mit Sonnenlicht auf. Nachts kann es schonmal laut knallen wenn diese sich wieder abkühlen (man denkt jemand haut auf einen großen Gong und man steht senkrecht im Bett). Insgesamt waren diese Tage im Park aber sehr entspannend und wir gedenken einen weiteren Besuch ❤️

Sehr schöne, riesige Anlage, großzügige Plätze, die nicht alle eben sind, deshalb Niveauregulierer mitnehmen. Buchung auf der Webseite ist easy. Sanitäre Anlagen sind nicht besonders schick, was man bei diesen Preisen vielleicht erwartet, jedoch sehr sauber. Viel Platz zum Spielen. Tolle Gegend um Radtouren zu machen. Karte mit Knotenpunkten gibt's in der Rezeption. Auch in der Sommerzeit nicht vollgestopft. Wir werden sicherlich wiederkommen.
