Wilsumer Berge Camping Unfortunately not anymore! First of all, I would like to say that the internet impression from the homepage made a really good impression on me. Unfortunately, the reality was very sobering. The restaurant and the super friendliness of the staff deserve a really positive mention. We were there for the barbecue buffet. The price was ok, but delicious and fresh. The place is large, but there is little to no planting, at least in most areas. A lot of building work going on in the surrounding area due to renovation, which could also be mentioned on the homepage. During our stay there was enough rain, which ultimately led to the site becoming a real mud hole in places. Unfortunately, the site is divided more badly than right into dog and no dog areas. This means that the peace and quiet of your vacation is quickly disturbed by barking and other noises. The wash house on our corner consisted of four toilets and three showers per gender... Queuing is usually the case. In addition, the toilet area is very openly connected to the rinsing/entrance pond. But everything is very clean so far. Program booklet with activities is only available in Dutch, which I find strange, as we are not in Holland, but only on the Dutch border. Information in German only via app. The indoor playground itself is nice. All age groups have been catered for. However, almost every last corner of the hall is covered, which makes the whole thing very cramped and dark. Nevertheless, we had a lot of fun playing tag. The food counter is either not manned at all or staffed by people who seem overwhelmed, although you can only order coffee and tea. There are two industrial waffle irons available in the counter area, which were not even used during our short vacation. However, this is advertised online. Furthermore, the young staff at Spieleland have no overview or idea. We wanted to know what the compulsory use of ribbons in Spieleland was all about, which was answered by the employee with a shrug of the shoulders and "no idea". Rules in the Spielland cannot be adhered to, nor checked. Playing only in sliding socks, with a ribbon and an accompanying adult. As there are only two employees in the hall, one at the counter and one doing handicrafts, this is completely impossible. There are "several" playgrounds on the site. The only one that is really suitable is the one by the restaurant. There is a climbing park, but it is closed and only accessible for certain activities... In conclusion, one of the worst campsites on the Dutch border we've ever been to, and for almost €100 per day (5 days/€495), it's steep and very annoying. Conclusion: The price-performance ratio is absolutely not right... Never again!

Was online jedoch beworben wird.

Excellent stay in an idyllic forest location - absolutely recommendable! Our stay at this campsite was thoroughly positive. Even the approach is impressive: the grounds are exceptionally well-kept and blend harmoniously into the inviting, wooded surroundings. You immediately feel welcome. Organization & pitches The digital check-in is particularly noteworthy. The fact that registration can be completed online in advance means that there is no need to leave your car at reception and allows for a completely stress-free, flexible late arrival - a modern service that we really appreciated. The pitches themselves are extremely spacious. The generous layout ensures pleasant privacy and makes the size of the individual compartments more than acceptable. Sanitary facilities & service The site management deserves a great deal of praise for dealing with technical problems. At the beginning there were deficits in our area (lack of hot water, defective fittings), but the response was exemplary: the defects were rectified quickly and professionally. Mistakes can happen - the decisive factor is the proactive solution, and this was absolutely commendable here. The cleanliness of the facilities is absolutely fine. The following applies here: the condition often reflects the behavior of the users; the site maintains a good standard here. Dog friendliness in a class of its own This site is a real highlight for campers with dogs. There are special dog areas, which ensures an orderly structure. We were particularly impressed by the infrastructure: High density of waste garbage cans throughout the site. Dog waste bag dispensers are always full and of a quality and regularity that we have never experienced on any other site. An absolute plus for cleanliness! Catering & conclusion The on-site catering is well organized. The campsite's own store offers a practical bread roll pre-order service, and the catering options also invite you to linger. Conclusion: We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back. A well-maintained site with modern management and a heart for four-legged friends!

Hervorragender Aufenthalt in idyllischer Waldlage – Absolut empfehlenswert!
