We spent 7 nights at hu Birkelt Village. The accommodations were really super clean—a world of difference compared to the somewhat older cottages we had at hu I Pini.
At €1,340 for a week, you’re definitely paying for that, but it was absolutely worth it for the cleanliness.
Still, there are a few clear areas where the campground falls short:
The pool: The outdoor pool is quite cold. The indoor pool is a nice alternative, but because of the roof, it’s extremely noisy and very crowded.
The park store: The supermarket on the campground is absurdly expensive—up to four times as expensive as the supermarket in the village 15 km away. That does nothing to encourage guests to stay on the campground and do their grocery shopping there, which is a shame and unnecessary.
All in all, it’s a very clean park with nice accommodations, but in terms of park amenities and prices, there’s definitely room for improvement.this is a translation, click here for the original

Way too crowded, a cramped campground. There are much nicer, quieter, authentic campground alternatives nearby.
