Do your kids actually want to sleep in their own tent? We understand that all too well! The SunLodge Taiga & Kambi therefore has a separate tent especially for your children! This extra tent, the Kambi, is right next to the large Taiga lodge tent. Your children will experience their own safari every night. And is it getting too exciting? Then you can join them again in just a few steps.

In the SunLodge Taiga & Kambi you will also find two large bedrooms, a luxurious bathroom with toilet and a fully equipped kitchen. Because you can accommodate seven people, there is even a separate second toilet. Handy!

On the large covered terrace you can relax during the day. And in the evening you can enjoy the sunset with the whole family. And tomorrow? You will see after another wonderful night in your own luxurious SunLodge.

HU Birkelt Village is beautifully located in the heart of nature and offers an ideal base for hikes in the Mullerthal region. Guests appreciate the friendly staff, clean facilities, and extensive offerings for families with children, including Dutch-language entertainment and a renovated swimming pool. The restaurant serves delicious pizzas and the service is generally well organized. Many visitors are happy to return for the combination of nature, activities, and pleasant atmosphere.

    The perfect base if you want to hike the Müllerthal trails. The staff is super friendly, very flexible when it comes to check-in, and the amenities are great. We weren’t able to try out the pool because we got back from our hike too late.

    Perfecte uitvalsbasis als je de Müllerthal trails wilt gaan wandelen. Het personeel is supervriendelijk, zeer flexibel wat check-in betreft en fijne voorzieningen. Het zwembad hebben we niet kunnen testen omdat we te laat terug waren van het wandelen.

    Great campground, beautiful, spacious campsites—though a bit sloped. Lots of kids and dogs. Great surroundings. The market has a well-stocked selection and a good variety of fresh bread rolls in the morning. The takeout pizza was tasty, too. Adequate restroom facilities. One is a bit older, the other a bit more modern, but it smells like sewage … in there. I’d rate the cleanliness at 85%. The washing machine can only be operated via an app, €7. The outdoor pool is pretty chilly, the indoor one is better, but there are a lot of kids, so it’s noisy. Lane swimming isn’t possible.

    Toller Campingplatz, schöne, große Stellplätze, allerdings erwas schräg. Viele Kinder und Hunde. Tolle Umgebung. Markt hat ein gut sortiertes Sortiment und morgens eine gute Brötchen Auswahl. Pizza vom Take away hat auch geschmeckt. Sanitär ausreichend vorhanden. Eins schon älter, eins etwas moderner, dort riecht es nach Abwasser. Sauberkeit würde ich sagen 85%. Waschmaschine nur über eine App bedienbar, 7€. Schwimmbad draußen recht kühl, drinnen besser, aber viele Kinder, dadurch unruhig. Bahnen Schwimmen nicht möglich.
