However, the park faces significant challenges: the swimming pool is frequently described as ice-cold, dirty and outdated, cleaning of accommodations often falls short with dust, stains and mould, and there is considerable maintenance backlog affecting furniture, doors and technical installations. Staff reviews are mixed – some are friendly and helpful, others unfriendly or overwhelmed – and communication and customer service frequently disappoint, with guests being passed from pillar to post.

    Unfortunately, our stay was not worth the amount of money we paid. For this price, we expected much better quality, cleanliness and service.

    The flooring had several gaps, which did not feel safe or child-friendly. With small children, we had to constantly keep an eye on them. The cleanliness of the accommodation was also disappointing. In … particular, the terrace did not seem to have been cleaned at all—it was covered with dust, dirt and leaves. Especially when travelling with kids, proper cleanliness should be a basic expectation.

    Another major disappointment was the air conditioning. There was only one air-conditioning unit upstairs in the common area, rather than proper air conditioning throughout the accommodation. Considering that we paid extra for this, it felt very misleading. This limitation was also not clearly mentioned anywhere beforehand.

    The experience was frustrating right from our arrival. Someone had already parked their car on our designated premises/parking area. We had to go back to reception, explain the situation and ask them to contact the person to have the car removed. This was an unnecessary inconvenience after arriving.

    Despite paying a relatively high price, guests are still expected to do several things themselves, such as removing the bedcovers and taking the rubbish to the central disposal area.

    Overall, considering the price we paid, we expected a much cleaner, safer and more comfortable experience. Unfortunately, several important details were not clearly communicated in advance, and the overall experience did not justify the price.

    It's really hard to judge. At first glance, everything looks great. But as always, the devil is in the details. Quite a few things are broken, out of order, or in need of renovation. At the pool, two of the three pools (for toddlers) were completely blocked off. Inside the house, there was a hole in the floor of one bathroom, and only one of the … four burners on the stove worked. The gas fireplace (which we didn’t need, but would have been nice to have) didn’t work at all. The pre-ordered packages (coffee/tea and Kinder Surprise) weren’t there at all, and nothing would have been done about it without us speaking up.

    On the plus side: the facility is clean, the location is great, the prices are generally reasonable, and the staff really try their best. There’s plenty for kids to do...

    Die Beurteilung ist wirklich schwierig. Auf den ersten Blick ist alles toll. Aber der Teufel liegt wie immer tief im Detail. Etliche Dinge sind kaputt, außer Betrieb oder Renovierungsbedürftig. Im Schwimmbad waren 2 von 3 Becken (für Kleinkinder) komplett dicht. Im Haus selbst war in einem Bad ein Loch im Boden, am Herd funktionierte nur eine von 4 Platten. Der Gaskamin (brauchte man nicht, wäre aber nice to have) funktionierte gar nicht. Gebuchte Pakete (Kaffee/Tee und Kinderüberraschung) waren gar nicht vorhanden und ohne Rückmeldung wäre auch nichts passiert.

    Das Positive: die Anlage ist sauber, die Lage top, die Preise grds in Ordnung und das Personal auch bemüht. Für Kinder gibt es ne Menge zu tun...
