Vakantiepark Leukermeer is highly appreciated for its beautiful waterside location and extensive children's facilities, particularly the pumptrack, animation team and swimming pools. Guests praise the friendly staff, restaurants and numerous play and sports opportunities. Areas for improvement mainly concern the hygiene of the sanitary facilities, which despite their modern appearance are regularly experienced as insufficiently clean. The price-quality ratio and maintenance of pitches are also mentioned as points for improvement.

    A nice campground with an international feel. Kids have a great time on and around the water. It’s convenient that the Spar supermarket is nearby, just to the left before you reach the campground. There’s a weekly market, bingo, and a fish stand and poffertjes stand that show up several times a week. The ghost tour is scary and involves quite a long walk.

    We came here for a drink, and to be honest, we were really disappointed with the service. The waitstaff were barely talkative, and the last round of drinks was taken about half an hour before closing time. The process of paying right away wasn’t exactly friendly either.

    After we received our drinks, we were immediately asked to return the cushions from the sofas. We were then allowed to sit on a wooden plank instead. That doesn’t exactly feel like hospitality or good service.

    We’ve been coming here for years and returned after about five years. It all looks beautiful, but if you treat vacationers and guests this way, we really think there’s something wrong with the management.

    We actually wanted to end our vacation with a nice dinner here with nine people. But after this experience, we really don’t want to come back here anymore. Even if we were offered the dinner for free, we’d decline it.

    You work all year, look forward to your vacation, and want to end it with a nice evening. You’d at least expect a little hospitality and service. It’s a real shame and, to be honest, quite scandalous.

    Nadat we onze drankjes hadden gekregen, werd ons meteen gevraagd de kussens uit de banken in te leveren\. We mochten vervolgens nog wel op een houten plank zitten\. Dat voelt niet bepaald als gastvrijheid of service\.

    Wij zijn hier jarenlang geweest en waren na ongeveer vijf jaar weer terug\. Het ziet er allemaal prachtig uit, maar als je op deze manier met vakantiegangers en gasten omgaat, is er naar onze mening echt iets mis met de organisatie\.

    We wilden onze vakantie juist afsluiten met een gezellig etentje hier met 9 personen\. Maar na deze ervaring hoeven wij hier echt niet meer te komen\. Zelfs als we het etentje gratis zouden krijgen, zouden we ervoor bedanken\.

    Je werkt het hele jaar, kijkt uit naar je vakantie en wilt die met een leuke avond afsluiten\. Dan verwacht je toch op z’n minst een beetje gastvrijheid en service\. Heel jammer en eerlijk gezegd behoorlijk schandalig\.

    We had an amazing vacation!
    A stunningly beautiful place, great location, and incredibly kind and helpful staff!
    A solid 10!
    We’d chosen a chalet with a covered terrace, but it could use a little TLC—it wasn’t quite what we’d hoped for and, above all, was the complete opposite of our expectations regarding the service and location!
    We might come back here next year, but we’ll be looking for something a bit more luxurious ☀️

    We hadden gekozen voor een chalet met overdekt terras, die zijn wel toe aan een beetje liefde, niet zoals we hadden gehoopt en vooral totaal het tegenovergestelde van onze ervaringen over de service en de locatie!

    It was a wonderful vacation with an absolutely stunning view of the lake from the pool! A real treat for young and old alike—it’s so beautiful I could easily stay there for two weeks.
