Plusieurs fois que j'y vais et toujours aussi tranquille.

Together with our dachshund, we really enjoyed our stay at De Vieuw. The name says it all: “De Vieuw”—a fantastic view. We received a friendly and warm welcome. There’s a restaurant where you can enjoy delicious food, a swimming pool, and the accommodations we stayed in were flawless. In short, it’s the kind of place you’d want to return to in a heartbeat.

We spent two nights in a cozy trapper tent as part of the Trail des Écrins. We loved our stay—the tent was very well-equipped, there were activities and games for the kids, a relaxation area where we could read and have coffee, and a nice pool. It was great. And all of that just two minutes from the starting line, which was really nice since we were setting off at 6 a.m.

Great campground with a fantastic staff

Beautiful campground, friendly welcome, good service.

A really large and beautifully landscaped campground. We had a comfort site with private bathroom facilities and electricity. The staff responded quickly to two minor issues in the bathroom. Everyone was very friendly overall. The swimming pool is a nice little highlight. Nieuwpoort—and especially the beach promenade—are well worth seeing and are easy to explore on the many good bike paths.

Camping Mareveld is beautifully situated and has spacious sites. It has a small swimming pool and a nice playground. A campground with potential. Unfortunately, the restrooms are very outdated; the showerheads are covered in limescale, which could be addressed, and cleaning them would also help. Hygiene isn’t a top priority at this campground. The welcome was also far from friendly.
