Basically a beautifully laid out vacation park with a large children's playground by a natural body of water that is not deep. We stayed in a house with a group of 12 adults and 3 children. The house was a bit small, but sufficient for a weekend. However, the cleanliness in the house was not so good. On the surface it was fine, but on closer inspection the corners had not seen a rag for a long time, the toilets had a strong urine smell and there were large numbers of butterfly mosquitoes everywhere. The latter are indications of unhygienic conditions. The bed linen and towel package we had booked also left a lot to be desired. Stained towels and bed linen with blood stains, mildew stains and numerous hairs did not make us feel clean. Barbecues were only allowed with electric grills, but the plumbing is not designed for this. A connected grill and a running oven or dishwasher and the fuse blew. The service was really bad on Saturday evening (6.15 pm) when the reception was no longer manned and we had no electricity. The emergency number was also not manned. We were then able to get help from the restaurant, which sent a member of staff, but she was only able to put the fuse back in with our help.

Small but quiet beach

We stayed elsewhere but went there for dinner because we couldn't find any other place. The waiters were nice. We ordered gaspacho and they brought us a plate with grated tomato, oregano, pepper and oil. We were surprised and told the young waiter that this was not gazpacho. that the kitchen told him that it was and that he had never seen gazpacho. My partner ate the tomato and at the end when we paid we commented the same to the senior waiter who told us that he was Andalusian and that he thought the same but that the company wecamp forced the kitchen to serve it as gazpacho. Out of politeness and because it was late we paid without further ado (7 euros for the tomato). Judge for yourselves when you see the picture.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Very nice campsite on the Moselle We had a great stay at Paradies Camp Kröv. The site is located in beautiful surroundings directly on the Moselle and is an ideal starting point for cycling tours and excursions. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful - you immediately feel welcome. A small note: The pitches facing the road are on a bit of a slope, so chocks are recommended. The sanitary facilities are currently under construction, but this does not detract from the flair of the campsite - on the contrary, it shows that modernization is underway here. We would love to come back and can highly recommend the site!

First time I visited a camping location which charge extra for WIFI services. I paid 21 Euro per week. The funny thing is you cannot take 3 euro per day. For example, if you stay 9 days and you really need WIFI, you have to pay for 2 weeks because they just sale weekly packages. That is also Ok. I took. But to use this WIFI I had to come nearby their reception, it was not working properly in my place that is also ok I did. Another funny thing is one day even the WIFI totally disappeared for 24 hours. So, I went and ask to the reception, A boy around of 20 to 22 told me that I had to call someone and he gave me his number. He told me that they brough this service from that person. And I told him why I have to call him? I don't know him. You have to call and solve this problem. But he told me again that they are not a WIFI provider, they just connected me with him, so I had to call him. For me this is really irresponsible answer. Then I called in that number he gave me a guy who responded told me that they were repairing. He told me it is not only your problem. we are repairing. So after 24 hours I got WIFI service after repairing but I paid for that repairing day too. For me it is normal for WIFI intervention. May be not big deal for not to return my 3 euros too but the guy how he was saying that it is my work to call the guy I never see and even i did not pay.

Ideally located campsite within walking distance of the village,very practical.magnificent view. Very busy during the week we were there.the staff are lovely (thanks to Aster and the manager)and obviously do what they can to keep the campsite clean,unfortunately respect for customers leaves something to be desired.hot water problem during our stay.

Super-friendly, super-clean campsite, staff who take great care of you and are always smiling and available. Activities several times a day for all tastes, young and old, with top-quality guest speakers. A very warm, wooden reception area. It's not a flashy campsite with a big slide or swimming pool, and so much the better for the more relaxed and open attitude of the campers. A treat to enjoy with the whole family: the kids are over the moon and want to go back!

Nice location on the lake, but the campground itself is not recommended. Many toilets closed, broken and dirty. Far too few showers, so for plumbing you have to queue. The bar is too small, not enough staff, so waited over an hour for pizza. For an ice cream you only have to queue for fifteen minutes. There is no store, but there is a sandwich service. Here you can buy max. 5 croissants at a time. Water tap on field: broken. The staff is not really friendly, but I would also not be happy under these circumstances. In short: € 418.00 for a week at this campsite ... disappointing! Absolutely not recommended.

We spent 5 days on the site with the caravan. Many pitches are occupied by permanent campers, but there are plenty of spacious pitches in between. We were able to choose freely, there was hardly anyone on the site. The staff were very friendly. As there was nothing going on, we were able to leave at any time. The site is really beautiful. There are 2 great playgrounds, a soccer pitch and a large meadow. There are several karts for the children. The pool (about 1.30m deep) is also great. It is covered and even has a small area for small children (approx. 40cm deep). The beach is not far away and the campsite is a great starting point for bike tours. The site has the potential to be a favorite place if it weren't for the poor cleanliness. There are 2 wash houses with toilets and showers, as well as showers and changing rooms by the pool. These were consistently dirty, even though there were hardly any campers. If I can still find the same traces of other campers in the washbasin and toilet two days later, they have hardly been cleaned. What will it look like when the pitch is full? A very nice man with a cleaning trolley drove up every day, but apart from emptying garbage cans and filling up with paper, nothing was apparently done. I don't think it's a bad thing that the wash houses are old and worn out. Not everything can always be new, but it should be cleaned thoroughly.

Pleasant campsite to disconnect... a big THANK YOU to Sarah and Emile for their welcome, their kindness and their availability, despite the heavy workload due to lack of staff they have shown professionalism and responsiveness, top!!!!

-Small children's play area. - Depending on location, access to electricity is complicated as you have to pass through another camper's pitch to plug in. - Shower with low pressure and not hot enough. No mini-market and restaurant on site complicated because small +++ not varied enough and expensive. -Camping quite expensive for what it is. Point + : - Direct beach access - Cleanliness of site -Pleasant staff

Rooms were very clean, location is just in the flight path from the airport. Amsterdam is 40 minutes away by bike. Mattresses were very soft.
