What a fantastic experience in the Veluwe Lounge! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Veluwe Lounge at this beautiful campsite. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome: the accommodation was spotless and taken care of to perfection. The Veluwe Lounge is truly a gem. Tastefully decorated, fully equipped and with a lovely spacious terrace where we could have breakfast in the morning in peace between the singing birds. The beds were lovely and the kitchen was fully equipped - perfect for those who like to cook for themselves. What makes this campground really special is its location in the middle of nature. You just step into the Veluwe forests for a walk or a bike ride, and you are guaranteed to find peace. The facilities at the campsite are also top: a beautiful swimming pool, nice playgrounds for children, a riding school and a cozy restaurant with good food. In short: a wonderful place to relax, recharge and enjoy nature. We will definitely come back!

A first night in a tent for my 5-year-old daughter Spacious, shady pitches, electric and water points everywhere, spotless sanitary facilities, swimming pool, bouncy castle, vast children's playground... She loved it!

Very familiar and cozy, 100% recommendable

Lovely location on the more sheltered side of Noirmoutier. Our pitch was lovely and shady and close to the bathroom block without being on top of it. The situation is amazing - having a great beach on your doorstep was awesome. The bar/cafe did good pizzas and brilliant ice lollies, the bike hire was so convenient and the reception staff very helpful. However. The pitches are too small. Once we’d put up the tent on the flat bit (there are slight undulations under the trees) we couldn’t also park the car on pitch so had to park at the main entrance, where there aren’t enough spaces so ended up parking up the road a couple of times. We didn’t mind the walk to the main entrance but parking off site was a pain. It seems the pitches are sized for campervans rather than tents. Your neighbours are close, so if they smoke you’ll know about it, and if you have a particularly loud child they’ll know about that too.

Perfect spot to travel through .

Fine campground, good pools, nice that every 20 minutes there is a possibility to catch a train to the higher pools from several places in the campground. Live entertainment and plenty of restaurants, both A la carte and takeaway options.

Spent 14 days at this campground. Fantastic pool for all ages, large sites and very clean sanitary facilities. Paying for showers is by card, which you purchase on arrival for 25€ ( plus 25€ deposit). We came out with that and had money to spare. You can also opt for more luxurious plumbing, even a bubble bath. You will pay more for that. Prices for ice cream etc at the pool were quite extreme unfortunately.

Great welcome from the staff at the reception (Francis), facilities always clean, pitches in the norm considering that the campground is in a forest, quite close to the center of Versailles, more than positive experience

The campsite is small and actually beautifully situated by the lake. We were unlucky with the weather, the grass was quite wet in places, the owners are very nice and very helpful. Showers were good.
