We visited Aminess Maravea Camping Resort in Croatia, booked through danskbilferie.dk, and overall had a vacation with both good experiences and some things that drag down. Arrival and mobile home: On arrival we were greeted by a receptionist who was actually off duty - so we got no introduction to the site, just a quick tick and a ring on a map. Unfortunately, the marking was completely wrong and we ended up having to go back to the reception. Luckily, we were greeted by an extremely service-minded receptionist who immediately took care of us and got a nice concierge to show us the right parking lot - a full 200 meters from the first marking. However, you could sense that this was not the first time we had problems with the same receptionist. Our mobile home was super clean, one of the cleanest we have experienced - even with white socks no dirt was picked up. There was a mosquito splattered on the wall, but otherwise everything was really top notch, both inside and out. There was also really good Wi-Fi, which worked without problems throughout the stay. The area and facilities: The campsite is large and divided into several zones. As mobile home guests, we were given wristbands that gave us access to the enclosed family area and two private pools. The pools weren't spectacular, but they were nice and at a good temperature - and the sunbeds there were free, which was a plus. There is also access to other pools on site, but they were very cold - including the children's pool, which we actually found colder than the others. That's why we chose the beach instead, but here it also cost extra to rent sun loungers - and it wasn't cheap. In general, we thought the prices at the campsite were far too high, especially when compared to other campsites in Croatia. It felt like they were trying to sell a luxury experience that wasn't quite delivered in practice. Safety and electric vehicles: One of the most worrying things was the amount of electric scooters and small electric motorbikes that children in particular were riding at very high speeds - some up to 60km/h and without helmets. This took place on narrow paths and we had to jump to the side several times to avoid being hit. It's not just disruptive, it's downright dangerous and we strongly believe it should be banned on the site. Departure and cleaning: On departure day, the cleaning staff arrived two hours before our official check-out and went straight to our balcony to lay out towels and rags for the next guests - it felt quite intrusive. An hour before check-out, four cleaners were staring at us from a bench in front of the house, which made us stressed. This could be done more discreetly and respectfully. Kids Club and entertainment: This is where we really have to praise! The Kids Club was fantastic - friendly and dedicated staff who welcomed the kids with open arms. Our child loved it and didn't want to leave. The Mini Disco was also a hit - great energy and they managed to get all the kids involved so it was a party every night. Conclusion: The campsite has many good qualities - clean and well-equipped mobile homes, well-functioning Wi-Fi and great kids' activities. However, the extreme prices, cold pools, reckless use of electric vehicles, and poor departure service drag the experience down. If safety and service are upgraded and the price level is more balanced, it could be a great vacation experience.

Had a wonderful stay for the second time with our 2 kids aged 4. Plus points: + small scale and very spacious + two swimming pools, 1 of which is also very suitable for bad weather + playroom for when the weather is bad + playground at the terrace + food is good and fun concept (with other family at table, kids eat first. Parents eat when kids play). + fitness room / spinning class + plenty to do in the area In short, if you also want to enjoy your vacation with young kids, this is really ideal!

Neat, well-kept, large campground. During our stay it was very quiet but you notice that a lot of attention is given to the campsite. At the reception very nice ladies. Everywhere you pay by credit card. Perhaps a bit impersonal but also understandable. Restaurant is not very special; in these expensive times it might be logical to have a limited menu...... Swimming pool is also fine. Toilet building was super clean. In short, we were very satisfied!

Friendly staff. Bit of a shame that only pizza is available in the restaurant. Otherwise great place.

A very nice campsite within walking distance of Ommen on the Vecht. We spent our vacation here for 2 weeks and we liked it very much. Spacious and well maintained sites with everything you need. The whole campsite looks neat and they kept it maintained during our stay. We were near the beach and had a nice view, see photo. The pool, restaurant and snack bar were also fine. Biking and hiking is a pleasure in the area. Yet one minus point: The cars on the pitch next to the caravan, we have not experienced that and had the feeling of camping in a parking lot. The parking lot at the reception was empty and most of the cars were parked next to the caravan for 2 weeks, so why not on the parking lot? For disabled guests it is easy, but continue to find it not a sight. Next vacation will be on a car-free campsite again, hope this campsite will do something about this, with the exception of disabled people. The toilet blocks were really super clean and fully equipped. We were near the road where you enter the campsite, this unfortunately gives a lot of noise, somewhere in the neighborhood is also a party tent, you hear that clearly. Thanks for the pleasant stay.

We are now driving away from camping de pasveer. What a wonderful few days we had with our 3 greyhounds. Quiet campsite with clean toilets and showers without coin or card happen delicious!!! Very friendly welcome and a nice base for various visits to e.g. Sneek or Leeuwarden. Also very nice bike routes. We will definitely come back.

Update meiner Rezension (Juli 2025): Ich habe diesen Campingplatz bereits vor einigen Jahren bewertet und möchte nun ein Update geben, da sich seitdem vieles positiv verändert hat. Die Sauberkeit hat sich deutlich verbessert: Die Sanitäranlagen werden mehrfach täglich gereinigt und machen einen sehr gepflegten Eindruck. Zudem wurden ältere Waschhäuser mittlerweile schrittweise renoviert, was den Komfort deutlich erhöht. Man merkt, dass der Platz in den letzten Jahren modernisiert wurde und die Betreiber sich um stetige Verbesserungen bemühen. Das möchte ich lobend hervorheben und meine Bewertung entsprechend anpassen. 👍 --- Frühere Bewertung (Kurzfassung): Damals hatte ich vor allem die mangelnde Sauberkeit der Sanitäranlagen kritisiert, da diese teilweise veraltet und nicht ausreichend gepflegt waren.

Misleading website and a lot of false promises! We arrived at the campground last Monday to stay here for 9 (this ended up being 2.5) days. We had seen the campground pass by on Facebook, and became excited after looking at the website (but this quickly turned around). All kinds of promises listed on the website are not present at the site. No horses, no delivery service, no live music or communal dining times ... we were also unable to discover any fruit trees or electric bikes. We noticed right away upon arrival that the campsite lacked a clear route and/or map. There is no reception desk. Check in is through an online environment, after which you are in a group app for further information. Above the caravan/camper pitches was a shade cloth. However, it was so amateurishly attached that it came loose towards evening, and in the process some wooden poles broke off and flew through the air. We then asked for help through the group app, as the situation did not feel safe. David eventually came to help, but reacted laconically to the situation "that if something happened they were insured." The pool was also broken (had a leak in it) and the lighting also needed to be replaced. Around the pool were all kinds of tools (chisel, hammers, grinder, sealant cans) and also the electricity was just lying around open. Definitely not a safe environment for children and dogs. The bar and pool terrace are also in poor condition. In the plumbing were all kinds of defects such as broken doors/drivers and screws sticking through the wood. And also we had no water for 1.5 days ... so also could not shower, do the dishes or simply flush the toilet. Meanwhile, the staff did walk by with watering cans. But nothing was arranged for us as guests, we were only told that hopefully it would be fixed soon. In addition, in the final 2.5 days we spent there, we did not see anyone cleaning or checking the plumbing. Furthermore, the yard is a chaotic mess of tools, construction equipment and trash lying around. There are chores being started all over the property, but if something is not working (showers, power repeatedly failing) it is not a priority. The petting zoo is a small enclosure with 3 goats, which also does not look at all kid-friendly and has power on the fence. There are no horses in the immediate vicinity of the campground, however, this impression is given. All in all, we informed the owner Guido that this is not how we envisioned our vacation. With great difficulty we were able to get some of our money back, but still paid an absurd amount for 2.5 days in which we felt anything but relaxed! For us NEVER again! As a reader, be aware that you are asked for a deposit of half and preferably the total amount of the reservation and that this has "in principle we do not do refunds" on it. We don't know how Guido/David are going to react to this review considering previous reviews were accused as false, but this is a true story. We hope the campground does something with the feedback/reviews they get instead of accusing but our pictures speak for themselves!

Traveled end of preseason with a tent. Nice spacious place equipped with water and electricity. Were under the trees in the shade. Plumbing was clean and well maintained. Good showers without those annoying push buttons. Two swimming pools including one for small children with a large strip of grass around it where you could lie comfortably. There was also plenty of shade. Between the pools was the restaurant where you could drink something or eat lunch/dinner. Great prices! Right next to the campsite, walking within 5m, is a supermarket for all your groceries and bread. Begur is a beautiful old town, but because of the height differences not for everyone walking or cycling recommended. Nearby there are more old medieval towns like Pals. Everything is easy to drive to. For golf lovers like me, there are also plenty of courses within 20m driving distance. All in all a fine campsite and nice stay for next time.

Our stay was simply fantastic! The location is great - right on the water and just a few minutes from the charming little town of Kampen. Perfect for anyone looking for nature, peace and quiet and a bit of adventure. The vacation homes are modern, stylish and very thoughtfully furnished - we felt at home from the very first moment. We were particularly impressed by the private jetty on the water - listening to the birdsong in the morning with a coffee in hand and relaxing at sunset in the evening. Simply great! The park itself is quiet and well-kept, the atmosphere is informal and relaxed. Ideal for families with children, couples or water sports enthusiasts - from the jetty straight into adventure! The service on site was also great - friendly, helpful and simply nice. We will definitely be back.

Very pleasant campsite on the heights of Arcachon.

Camping agréable, je suis surpris de l'excellente qualité des Bungalows. Le camping est spacieux,calme,avec des animations bien pensées. De plus le personnel est sympa et professionnel. Merci pour toute les prestations qui donne envie de revenir.
