We're leaving tomorrow after spending 12 days at this campground.
A great spot right on the lake with its own beach and the restaurant "Chez Marcel," where you can enjoy a delicious meal on the terrace by the water.
The deluxe site for our camper van with a trailer and two motorcycles is spacious enough, and what a pleasure it is to have a shower room, a sink, a fridge, a table on the wooden deck, and a griddle.
Thank you for the warm welcome, both at the campground and the restaurant, and a special thank you to Julian, the activities coordinator, for his kindness, helpful advice, and guidance on the fantastic hike to the Demoiselles Coiffées.
We’ll be happy to return, as it’s strategically located for exploring this beautiful region.

How can we make it clear to all you campers and RV travelers that La Salvinie, this lovely campground, is a haven of peace? A beautiful pool and spotlessly clean restrooms. Spacious, tree-lined sites. Friendly and approachable owners. Everything you need for a wonderful time. Exceptional value for the price. Have a wonderful season!

Nice glamping tent and delicious breakfast rolls; a clean campground. Unfortunately, there were no restroom facilities right next to the tent, so I had to walk a short distance to use the toilet and shower.

It's a nice campground! We're staying there right now; we would have stayed for several days, but because of this heat, we'll be heading home tomorrow. We'll be back.

We had a lovely family holiday at this camp overall.
The reception staff were helpful, although the queue to speak to someone could sometimes be as long as an hour, which was frustrating.
Our caravan was quite small for a Premium option, but it was clean and in a good location.
There are essentially four places to eat onsite: a burger bar on the beach, a restaurant next to the pool, a restaurant by the sea, and a small snack bar further up the beach.
The pool area is lovely. However, charging €10 per sun lounger feels excessive, although we found that if you were only there for around an hour, you were not usually charged—mainly if you wanted one for longer.
Overall, we found the onsite activities fairly basic and overpriced.
For food costs, I’d recommend budgeting around €100 per meal for a family of four.
Watch out for the live music, extremely hit and miss.

A wonderful tent in a beautiful location.

Great campsite close to Ghent via no 11 bus 3 minutes walk away. €3.50 one way.
Yes theres alot of renovations work going in but at least they are trying to make improvements. Staff helpful and friendly. Pizza fantastic, although a little pricey at €16 (we had the most expensive one). Tried shower block 2 - one day the water was warm, the next freezing cold. Went to block 3 and block 4, both were excellent. It was 36 degrees when we were here and were lucky to be in pitch 72, under trees which really helped. Would definitely use again. Dont be put off by negative reviews.

We were there outside of the school vacation period.
The entire campground is clean and very quiet. The restroom facilities are also clean. Shopping options on the campground and in the immediate vicinity are very limited. Bread rolls must be pre-ordered by 6:00 p.m. Pizza can be ordered at the front desk—pickup at 6:00 p.m.
The staff is very friendly
