A very nice campsite, I think in summer it's a dream to vacation there with children. The owners are very nice.

Wir sind das erste Mal hier und haben nicht vor, wieder zu kommen. Das Wasser an unserem Waschhaus ist jeden Abend kalt, haben etwas gebraucht, bis wir eins mit warmen Wasser gefunden haben. Der Stellplatz ist zwar schön groß, aber könnte schöner und vorallem gerader sein. Pool war kalt meinten die Kids und die Preise auf dem Platz im Supermarkt und Co waren echt heftig, da lohnt es sich ins Kaufland oder Plodine zu fahren. Auch die Abendunterhaltung hat uns absolut nicht angesprochen. Leider für uns nicht der richtige Campingplatz. Auserdem wurde in dem Tabakshop auf dem Platz Ware an unseren Teenager verkauft, welcher definitiv unter 18 Jahren ist. Passt also auf eure Kids auf, wenn ihr dort seit.

Unfortunately, we had to cancel the vacation 10 days before it was due to start because I had broken two lumbar vertebrae. I had hoped that we would perhaps be credited at least part of the nights as an act of goodwill. As friends of ours were on the pitch, we know that the pitch was rebooked. That is not customer-friendly for us. Communication was not always friendly. We know it differently

It was relatively quiet in the park on New Year's Eve as there was a ban on firecrackers. Unfortunately, our dog also reacted in panic to distant firecrackers and rockets.

It is a nice, tidy and clean place. The staff was very kind at all times. The facilities are efficient and comfortable. We enjoyed the spa and recommend it. As an opportunity for improvement I suggest that they review the arrangement of the parking spaces to optimize space, since on more than one occasion we could not park because several vehicles were badly parked. We also had problems with the wifi signal that did not work properly in the premium area. Thank you for everything.

Nicely cared for park. Cottage with sauna fine for each other and in a beautiful location. You walk from the park into the woods. The snow made it totally awesome.

We spent our first winter vacation here. It was mega! The staff were friendly, the children's entertainment was great, the indoor playground was fantastic. The wash house was super cozy and warm. I was actually a bit worried about that. The indoor pool looks nicer and bigger in the pictures than it actually is. The children loved it, no question about it. But I thought the water was too cold. And I also found the room temperature cool. No wonder you see adults sitting on the chairs with their clothes on, waiting for the children. There is a communal shower, which is perfectly ok. But it lacks a shelf for shower gel etc or for glasses (which I personally find more important). We showered with our glasses on. Which is really inconvenient. There is also no power socket at all to plug in a hairdryer. There are two fixed hairdryers, which are of course totally besieged. I managed to get to one, but it kept going out and only cold air came out. Which is totally unfortunate for people with long hair. I ended up walking into the wash house with wet hair to blow-dry my hair with my hairdryer - by the way, there's only one power socket there! I wouldn't have been able to plug it in in the caravan because the fuse would have blown. I'm deducting one star for that. In my opinion, sockets should be retrofitted somehow. Apart from that, it was great and I wouldn't rule out us coming again!

Never again. Reported the 1st day that the toilet did not flush properly. There were no bedside tables. Kitchen window and sliding door did not close properly. Grill microwave was missing. Snack bar closed while the lady wanted to work but could not. Reception said it was because the park was not full. While it was. Pictures of velthorst 4 were very different than in reality. For us never again

Really a beautiful place in a great location, very friendly welcome and a great restaurant, we would love to come back 👍🚐

magical stay very cosy little chalet very well equipped we had an idyllic stay with my daughter a waking dream worthy of Lapland (without the northern lights) a very beautiful campsite that was covered in snow every day, a wonderful and unforgettable Christmas with stars in our eyes, thank you Huttopia!

In addition to being a very good campsite, with a tap by each pitch and reliable free WiFi, there is a café/bar at the site entrance and a Chinese restaurant along the lane at Reception. It’s a great location for visiting Bruges or Ostend, by bus or by cycling alongside the canal, and there’s an Aldi a mile away in the town
