Liked: Good location for walking in the gorge and cycling, facilities clean and spacious Disliked: Small pitches, large groups of teenagers drinking smoking and being noisy till late

The village has just opened and is brand new. Everything is made of wood and blends in perfectly with the landscape. ||Very good family stay, very friendly welcome, large swimming pool, beautiful view. Perfect restaurant. Bedding very good (we were in a tent) The list of activities is also top-notch (I wanted to stay longer to do them all!) ||A big THANK YOU for the stay!

We went several times and were always impressed with the organization of the facility and the kindness of the staff. There is everything to have fun: swimming pools for adults and children, water games and entertainment for everyone, In this regard, a thank you to Ronald for his magnetic dance and water aerobics classes... We have yet to return with our grandchildren who were thrilled.

Our mobile home was on top of a hill, so you had a beautiful view over the campsite. For people who have difficulty walking, it can be difficult, because the entire site is hilly.||though it is a very large site, there are plenty of places around the pool. There are plenty of pools.||Super nice mobile home, where we have nothing to complain about.|We had booked with Roan, where we also had a Dutch contact, which was super nice.||Further, the staff was very friendly, fun entertainment but prices for food drinks etc. is on the high side.||In the area there is much to do, so do not sit still there.||Overall, super satisfied and will definitely return.

What a super campground, beautiful starry sky seen, great food truck and pizza, delicious breakfast every day and a great room. Super clean plumbing and the friendliest staff. Advice for day trips. Seen fallow deer, the two seas coming together and the largest aquarium in northern europe. Also took a nice walk on the east coast. Delicious food in the foodtruck and pizzas. Also delicious beer from a local brewery. And they speak dutch!

A very nice location of the campground that is also nicely laid out. With beautiful places. Just a pity that at the entrance there are 2 wooden sanitary buildings that are dirty and stink of urine. The staff do their best to clean them. But unlimited wood and cement you do not get clean there pulls all the air in. Very unfortunate this. Despite this setback had a wonderful stay at this fantastic location.

I liked: Camping with a lot of offer for children, spacious, clean and quiet. At night the silence is very respectful. The pool is fun for kids and adults. The supermarket, being camping, is super complete and VERY ORDERLY. The restaurant next to the beach has a special charm at night ... and the fish combo is delicious.

We stayed end of august- large extended family group across a large age range. We hired 3 of the 4 tents (the 4th was unoccupied whilst we were staying). ||The positives- the farm is quite a long way uphill up a narrow track so the views across the hills and lake are stunning. The tents are laid out in 2 2s with space in front for children to set up badminton etc. Large grass field next to the tents for the kids to run and play in. Small chicken coop with 3 chickens which the kids enjoyed going to see. The surrounding area is beautiful. We visited the lake for paddling and the nearby Cerau Gardens which were great where they did us an amazing lunch for 13 of us (booking required for large groups).|| Llinos, the farmer, was welcoming when we arrived and provided a farm tour on the Saturday morning- this was lovely but be aware it requires at least wellies and preferably sturdy boots. It is a walk up into the hills to see the sheep and is rough under foot. It was a sunny morning and the views are just wonderful.||There is a small stocked shop under the farmhouse with a few essentials to buy and a wood pile with barrows to collect wood up the hill near the house.||The farm dog Jess (there is another we didnt see as much) visited us quite regularly, she was friendly and the kids played with her but she did pop by quite often so if you aren't a dog fan then just be aware she does roam around.||The beds at featherdown farms are very comfy! We slept really well!||The less good aspects- the tents are the typical Featherdown brand but were a little tired- the window flap mechanism for instance was no longer working so you had to operate from the outside only (not a massive problem). There was quite a random selection of kitchen equipment - muddled with other tents and had not been checked properly (previously we had equipment lists which does help with making sure stuff goes back to the right tents). There were missing towels from 2 tents and only 4 given for 5 of us in ours. The bedding was clean and fresh smelling but was marked and stained and some was quite 'thin'. The double beds were made up but for the rest we were given a slightly random selection of sheets and duvet covers which we '|made do with and used our own swimming towels in place of what should have been provided. Not all the beds had mattress protectors on and did look worn. There was no kitchen linen (teatowel/ ovengloves etc) as per the Featherdown list of provided equipment and no firelighters. We were told to go and get some from the farm shop. I had to borrow washing up liquid from the unoccupied tent. The cloth left to use for washing up was a sponge type cloth which was not clean/new. The tent was mostly clean- the floor still had footprints on from previous people and the toilet was not particularly clean. This was our second featherdown visit (different farm last time) and the 4th for one family in our group and the tents were the least well looked after/ equipped. Previous tents have been really spotless and 'just so' interms of bedding and towels etc.||After the walk we didn't see Llinos again and we didn't see her husband during our visit at all. This was fine for us but if you were expecting more hands on hosting or contact with the farmers or things to do on the farm then this one is much more simple an offering- make your own fun!| |We didn't have the advertised pizza night as the owner only suggested it late morning on our arrival day and we had already planned bbq food- it was also relatively expensive as we would have had to bring our own toppings aside from tomato and cheese (we have never experienced the BYO toppings before). Previous featherdown farms had provided drinks and even desserts as well as well as the toppings). Instead we bought takeaway pizzas in Bala that were excellent and better value for money overall.||Overall we had a fabulous time- mostly due to the location and the fact we were there as a big family group to catch up together. The small issues with the accommodation etc did not really detract from our stay. However it would be good if a little more care/attention to detail was given especially given the high costs of these holidays.

Beautiful campground centrally located between several attractions. Whether it is beach, Monaco or Gorges du Verdon there is enough to spot in the area to spend a day and half day.

We stayed in a glamping tent, which seemed still very new and clean, cozy, cool and stylish. It had 3 sleeping rooms with wooden walls, full kitchen and a small bathroom. Outside dinner table and couch to hang out. You could order breakfast the evening before and a bar and Pizza Trailer in the park. Also free access to the water park and close bus to the City. Loved it, kids loved it, too!

Both the location is beautiful and the staff unfriendly. Upon arrival they immediately made us pay for our lodging, without even accompanying us first to view our accommodations. We stayed for a week in a tent, called by them, Karma lux , renamed, by us, to Inferno lux. Unfortunately, the tent is exposed to the sun from 1 p.m. to sunset, despite the fact that the campground is in a wooded, plant-rich area, right in front of Karma lux there is a lack of plants, and given the scorching summer temperatures, the tent was unlivable in the afternoon. The tent is on two floors, there are windows with mosquito nets, but not on the upper floor, so there in the evening you suffer from the heat. To ventilate the tent in the evening, after the afternoon heat, we kept the main door of the tent open, but because the 'entrance lacks a mosquito net, mosquitoes, parasites and other stinging insects come in, so if in the afternoon the tent is unusable because of the heat, at night it becomes impossible to sleep because of the presence of mosquitoes. Hell. |In addition, there is a lack of 'outdoor furniture, there are only two chairs, but not a table for outdoor dining, in the evening, that summer evenings it is easy to happen to want to dine outdoors. In the tent regulations it is written that it is forbidden to take the table and chairs outside because they are for exclusive use inside the tent.|Finally to say if you go to the camping pool at 6:56 p.m. the lifeguard whistles, yes yes, just with a whistle, and everyone like good little soldiers and little soldiers get out , 4 minutes before the 'exit from the pool. The scheduled closing time of the pool is 7:00 p.m.

I think the reason we come to your campsite is to enjoy the swimming, but when the recruitment of lifeguards has been badly managed since mid-August and there's been a no-swimming sign, we've been taken for a ride. The commune's human resources department handled this year very badly, and it's a first for a regular.
