I went on a Saturday in November as dogs were allowed in most areas. The mature trees were beautiful although one was fenced off due to falling branches and the fruit trees in the orchard looked like they needed a good prune. Flowers were thin on the ground which was to be expected but I had hoped for some architectural plants and seeds heads to provide some autumn interest but there were very few. Lots of areas were fenced off so you restricted as to where you could go. There are lots of different garden rooms that ignore the beautiful countryside around. The busiest place I came across was some benches with their backs to the gardens looking out across the local fields. The house had a nice photography exhibit but apart from that is pretty empty and you couldn't go upstairs. The cafe was clean. The choice of cakes for vegans/vegetarians was extensive but if you have a medical need (such as coeliac) there was one solid fruit scone. National trust cafes are one of the worst places to visit for someone with coeliac disease - take your own food every time. They did have a microwave that I could use to warm up the 'brick' of a scone but it made little improvement. The gift shop was the best NT shop I have been in with a lovely selection of cards plus I bought a couple of gifts which I don't normally do in NT shops. Overall it was worth the reduced price entrance fee for November but I wouldn't bother going back. Not inspiring from a gardening point of view.

Absolutely loved our stay at La Masia. ||All of the staff were incredibly helpful, even with the language barrier (our fault not understanding local dialect) ||Both pools were incredible, not too busy & a nice vibe.||The restaurants had a decent menu & the beer was always served with a smile & perfectly chilled. ||Nice central ovation near the beach.||we took the train into Barcelona. which was a short walk from La Masia & a fairly straight forward train journey.

Great stay, If you want to relax and enjoy nature, you have come to the right place, The nearest store is also quickly accessible by car, Great surroundings and beautiful accommodation!

I had an excellent experience overall, The location was convenient for day trips to places like Efteling and De Efteling, The hosts gave excellent recommendations for local eateries, I would love to return!

The refrigerator was spacious enough for all our groceries, We cooked several meals and had everything we needed,

I absolutely enjoyed our stay! The tent felt luxurious but had that authentic camping atmosphere, The nearby Lauwersmeer National Park was a wonderful getaway, The hosts were friendly and recommended great local restaurants,

We loved the site

Nice rooms, great place to have a gathering with friends or family. Everything very cleand and very friendly people. Showers are okaj but could be better water power, blinds in the room should have more options for blinding.

The environment, views, tranquility, very nice cottage

This vacation complex is quietly located in the middle of a nature reserve and is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. The bungalows are supplied with energy and heat by solar panels and heat pumps, and access is via app. Some have a sauna or hot tub to relax in. The app is also the main source of information here, as you can find out about events in the park or the surrounding area or book other services such as private massages.
