First, we were very pleased with Jan's efforts. Very helpful in finding such things as a garage, a GP and other tips. The spot we were on was beautiful, the view was super and the big enough. Those are definitely huge pluses! Unfortunately, it left a lot to be desired in many ways. Upon arrival, as soon as we were already setting up the tents, the farmer in the field next door was haying for several hours. Obviously we understand that this has to happen, but a little heads-up would have been nice; to set up a tent in 30+ degrees and then have hay constantly blowing everywhere was not a pleasant experience. Really everything was covered. The plumbing was okay. The toilets did not flush super well nor were they particularly clean. On the door and on the app it said that there would be fixed cleaning times. Namely 3 times a day for an hour. There was rarely cleaned at those times and certainly not 3 times a day. The moment cleaning did take place, everyone had to leave the plumbing. So you couldn't go in for an hour, even to use the toilet. That was very inconvenient; for example, if you wanted to leave for a long drive and they happened to be cleaning then, you were just out of luck. You were also asked not to shower or wash dishes during peak hours and to limit your shower time to 5 minutes, otherwise you would run out of water. Unfortunately, this was nonsense: we were constantly running out of water. We showered several times at times when no one was there (e.g. early in the morning, or right in the middle of the day when almost everyone was out and about) and the shower did not run out of water 1 time. It was a constant alternation between glowing hot water (so hot you couldn't even stand under it) and freezing cold water. In addition, the drainage is poor. Of course, it is also up to the campers themselves to vacuum after showering, but it was very often completely flooded. In addition, I was once sent out of the shower by the owner because he wanted to finish his duties. I fully understand that it's frustrating when others don't mop and leave the plumbing clean, but this was a little too crazy for me. I was showering and the owner was mopping the bathroom floor in the meantime. Anyway, several times I already got the mop/ chamois in my stall pushed against my feet from outside, which was already not necessarily nice. Then the owner asked if I wanted to get out of the shower. I had not taken a "long" shower, by the way. I always turn off the faucet with that when I'm not using it; I also said this to the owner. In reply I got 'there must be a lot of people showering here'. I got out of the shower as fast as I could. What turned out: there was literally no one waiting for the shower. The real reason turned out to be that the owner had to mop because the floor was flooded and he didn't feel like it, because he had taken care of all the food. He indicated that he wanted to be with his legs in the air after a long day and for that I apparently had to get out of the shower so he could mop. Incidentally, I had just mopped neatly. I personally thought this was very strange: I don't think I was meant to be taken out of the shower because the owner didn't feel like it today. In addition, there was an extra bathroom with 3 showers, but they kept it closed. The campground was completely full. Also, unfortunately, the food was bad: we had ordered a (quite expensive) pizza. The "margarita" had vegetables on it anyway, which in itself is not a problem, but it was not on the menu. In addition, we had a pizza with meat, the meat of which was still raw. All pizzas were not cooked anyway, but the raw meat was a bit too much. The pool is fine; however, it is very small due to its awkward shape. On a hot day, the pool was so full that you could no longer reach it. Finally, the campground had an "us-our-own" atmosphere. For example, the rule to be quiet after 11 o'clock (with loud shouting in the middle of the night) and the prohibition to enter the farmer's land was completely ignored.

Top campsite! Beautiful site on the Dordogne with very friendly staff. The only improvements we see is the status (quantity, operation and hygiene) of the plumbing and the price-quality of the bar.

What a wonderful vacation we had with our family at camping Ballum! Beautiful place, wonderful playground, more than enough showers and toilets, everything well organized and.... We really enjoyed using the dishwasher. Was new for us at the campsite.... ;) As for surroundings. Rømø around the corner, so that says enough if you like beautiful beaches and the sea. Further lovely quiet, beautiful Ribe easily accessible and also Tønder we found a surprisingly nice town!

I don't understand where the 4 stars come from. This campground is degraded glory. We were able to take hot showers 2x out of 7x. Also, you have to be careful not to stand in the tufts of hair swept in front of the building. We were there in high season but still the campground was half empty. However, it is a fantastic environment we were on spot 244 definitely recommended;). Occasionally there was a sewer smell from the toilet buildings. There was good wifi. You have normal wifi and "extra wifi" for the extra wifi you have to pay. We did everything without the extra wifi so paying is not necessary. Other than that, the staff was very friendly and our problem regarding the electricity was quickly solved. We will not come back here again.

We were delighted with our family's stay at the campsite in a trapper tent. The accommodation was great, with a view of the lake. We enjoyed the pool and outdoor games. Very pleasant staff. The leisure center at a small all-you-can-eat price: a real treat. We're already thinking about our next stay with Huttopia.

Beautiful campsite. Unfortunately some time ago taken over by the French Huttopia. You notice that in the service. The French and Spanish people who work here are particularly blunt and unpleasant.

In the end, it came out lol! We arrived on our bikes because we were on cycling vacation. Unfortunately in the pouring rain and therefore soaking wet. We were supposed to camp here with our little tent for one night, but the sites were flooded mainly because of the rain.... We didn't like that. The staff initially had no solution, until they went to call the campground manager. He allowed us to stay one night in a rental tent that had just come empty but still needed cleaning at a reduced rate! We were very happy with his proposal. After an hour of waiting and a nice hot shower further, we were allowed in. All in all, really nice how we could spend the night at this campground.

My family had a wonderful and welcoming stay at Huttopia Lac d’Aiguebelette. The scenery is stunning, with a beautiful lake to swim in only a short 5 minute walk from the campsite with free access for campers. Added bonus was that the path was pram friendly, and wasn’t too busy when we visited in mid August. Great, clean, facilities (toilets with toilet roll and seats which is hit and miss across other sites we have visited!). Good choice of activities and entertainment on offer…all with a picturesque view of the mountains. We felt very welcomed by the helpful staff, enjoyed our morning croissants and our small children loved playing on the playground. Our pitch (comfort plus) came with a picnic table and was a good size for our campervan set up and kids to play in. We would highly recommend and hope to visit again.

Not usual from Europarcs. The cottage was not clean and sloppily finished. The property looked unkempt. Less attractive for smaller children. The location to zoo is top!
