We had an amazing week in Hu Birkelt Village . It’s a perfect place for families with kids. Every morning there were activities in the mini club and in the dance show. The kids love it !
The pool was included in the price, and the whole stay was really worth the money. The accommodation was affordable, and the restaurant and mini market prices were reasonable too.

We loved being surrounded by the forest, the beautiful walks and the waterfalls.

We loved our stay 100% and will definitely come back next summer!

Rural, moral, impressive 😉

We had a wonderful stay. The campground is very pleasant, with tall trees, spacious sites, and plenty of shade. The riverside location is magnificent. There’s a small beach accessible directly from the campground, which is very convenient for swimming with young children. Otherwise, on the other side of the bridge, a larger beach is just a 3-minute walk away.
The restrooms are clean. There are play areas for kids that our kids really enjoyed (slide, merry-go-round, swings, bouncy castle). There’s also a small library, board games, a foosball table, a ping-pong table... I’m sure I’m forgetting something.
The on-site restaurant is very convenient; the menu is great, with a (very) wide selection of beers.
The owners are extraordinarily kind and attentive. We felt right at home!

Last weekend, I went camping on my motorcycle at this beautiful, quiet campground with a nice pool to cool off in!
Gorgeous (fairly new) caravans with plenty of bedrooms and a nice terrace with a really beautiful view 👌!
A fantastic breakfast for 12.50€. (Don’t forget to book in advance!)
The restroom building has great showers!
The owners, Charlotte and her husband, are very friendly people and extremely helpful.
They also have nice spots for tents or caravans 👌
We’ll definitely be back next year.

A family-friendly campground—this was my first time camping in a tent, and honestly, the campground staff are super nice, friendly, and respectful toward guests; they’re always there to help. It was an experience I’ll definitely repeat. Antonio was a total ten—he was great—and Josefina too. Thanks to them, I’ll be back.

A beautiful area for a walk.
The trails are easy to walk on, and there are plenty of benches where you can enjoy the beautiful nature in peace.

The campground is in a good location but doesn't match the description.
There is no view of the sea, which is blocked by buildings that prevent other campers from seeing it.

We had a great time at the campground. We rented an Ottawa bungalow for a week. It was very well-equipped—refrigerator, stove, lounge chairs, etc. A gas grill could be rented on a daily basis. There’s a very nice pool area, and the lake is just a few steps away. The staff were super friendly and helpful. There’s a road that gets traffic both day and night, but that’s the only slight downside we noticed. Overall, it was a great vacation with our child. Thank you very much!

June 26–28 IT WAS A NICE WEEKEND, but unfortunately it was too HOT. Everything was clean—a great option for families with kids of all ages. Thanks for the wonderful time.

What a disappointment.
This campground is pretty expensive, especially when you consider what you get for your money. The value for money is very poor. But then again, they’re close to Versailles and Paris, so they don’t really do much about it. The customers keep coming anyway.
It’s frustrating to read that complaints from a year ago are still valid. This is despite promises to address these issues this winter.
We have a “Comfort Plus” site. It’s nowhere near the promised size, but it does come with a picnic table that’s dirty and, more importantly, gets in the way. No water faucets on the campground. Mediocre and outdated restroom facilities. The chemical toilet is laughable. We arrived on Sunday, and the restaurant menu featured only pizzas—but they weren’t being made. No idea why not. The pool is outdated. In short, look a little further for a campground near Versailles and Paris. Just accept the extra travel time. Hopefully, you’ll find a quieter spot there, free from the noise of trains, cars, and airplanes.
