A very beautiful park, and it's in a lovely location right by the sea

Great place, close to St Malo to stay right off the ferry.

Overall we had an “okay” stay here. We stayed at another Wecamp in Costa Brava, but this experience fell short.

Bathrooms were quite junk albeit the showers were hot. No soap in the bathrooms or hand dryer. Both laundry machines were broken. The maintenance workers were all very nice and helpful (one of them even made a cord so that we could connect to a far away outlet) but nearly every other interaction left us feeling like an inconvenience.

Location is great with a simple bus into town and our visit in San Sebastián was incredible

Paradies Camp—not worthy of its name!
Check-in: no reception desk; check in at the “restaurant.” Then I was shown to a spot, and that was it.
Bathrooms: no idea where they were; I saw what looked like an old barn, and the bathrooms were inside it. A dingy, dark, old building.
Service: None! I wasn’t told anything upon arrival and figured out on my own that there were sandwiches in the morning. But… according to the owner, I was supposed to have ordered them. Since I hadn’t been told anything, I had no idea about that! The owner then tried to argue that he had told me. I ended the argument by stating that he was lying and that I hadn’t been told anything upon arrival.

The overall impression is one of a run-down and messy place. The restrooms are being renovated, but judging by the reviews, they’ve been working on them for years.
The field for RVs/trailers is decent. The rest of the campground consists of permanent (mostly run-down) sites.

Conclusion: Keep driving—there are plenty of better campgrounds in the area!

There was some confusion during check-in. Actually, the service desk—which turned out to be the same as the front desk—was already closed at 3:00 p.m., even though we had been told that check-in was between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. The woman at the service point wasn’t friendly but rather snarky. We didn’t feel welcome, though she later softened her tone a bit. The cottage is beautiful, well-maintained, and very clean. The garden is very green with plenty of shade from the trees, which is wonderful on hot days. There’s no air conditioning. Bring a fan, as it can get very hot inside. You can pick up some groceries at the service point, but its hours are limited. The surroundings are beautiful and green, right on the dike and the Markermeer. You can swim at beaches about 2 and 4 km from the park. Hoorn and Enkhuizen are nearby and are very charming and beautiful historic towns. A Jumbo supermarket is a 15-minute drive away.

The care of the environment of greenery and Relaxation

The welcome was really nice, but we were the only campers in our van, in the middle of a field that was still just bare land, with electrical outlets along the edges but no shade except for the hedges. It’s a shame because the atmosphere at the bar is really cool, the restrooms are clean, and the surrounding scenery is stunning! In the end, we only stayed one night and paid €34 for one van with two adults, without electricity. Be sure to bring mosquito repellent. It’s not our lovely hostess’s fault, but we thought it was expensive! The furnished tents look really nice.

A great, very well-maintained campground. Our glamping tent is very clean and superbly equipped.
It’s located in an absolutely peaceful area right on the water and surrounded by lots of forest. Great for biking and relaxing.
But cities are also within easy reach...
