We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this campground. The kids loved the water park, and there are plenty of play areas for them. Personally, I especially enjoyed the beautiful natural surroundings and the wide variety of birds you can see and hear here. You can walk right into the woods, and on a nice hike you’ll even come across some old bunkers atop the hills.

In addition, the owners and staff are wonderful people who work very hard to make sure everyone has a great time.

Pretty boring for a longer stay. Fine for a stopover. If I ever end up here again, I’d stay for one night at most. Otherwise, it has all the necessary amenities. The restroom building is clean, but there’s an unpleasant odor.

We had a wonderful weekend! We got to experience the Huttopia concept for the first time—we'll definitely be back! The location is beautiful, the tent is well-equipped, and the facilities are clean. I highly recommend it!!

I stayed here for four nights.
It’s a great place to stay in a beautiful location, and I thought the price was excellent.

But unfortunately, I found out that the park is trying to make extra money by making false accusations.

Smoking is not allowed inside the unit.
And I think that makes sense.
So I smoked on the terrace.
But despite that, I was accused of smoking inside the apartment.

And I received an unjustified fine of €150.
I also received that invoice without having been contacted beforehand by phone or email.

A nice campground with all the amenities. GREAT.

A terrible experience for 500 euros (2 nights).

We had booked a Just Nature bungalow and a boat slip.

We had provided our license plate number in advance via the website and received an email stating that there was a key box containing the keys to the property. Reception was supposed to be closed by the time we arrived (8:30 p.m.).

Here’s what happened next.

1. Upon arrival, the gate wouldn’t open; my license plate wasn’t recognized. The emergency number was unreachable, and the people who answered the intercom at the gate couldn’t help. With the trailer attached to the car, it was difficult for me to back up, so after blocking everything for 20 minutes, a security guard arrived who was finally able to open the gate. Apparently, there was also a gate access card in the locker; they could have mentioned this in the email. The security guard wrote down our information, checked our ID cards, and wrote down our license plate number again, promising to have the issue resolved immediately the next day when the reception desk opened.

2. Aside from a single sign pointing to the trailer parking area—which ended right after we drove in—there was nothing to be seen anywhere. So we drove all the way through the park with the boat, looking for the trailer ramp and trailer parking area.

3. Upon arrival at our bungalow—whose interior wasn’t too bad—we found that all three radiators were set to maximum. Important to note… it was 34 degrees outside that day, following several previous hot days. No AC and just one fan were waiting for us. It was easily 50 degrees in the bungalow—and I’m not exaggerating. As a result, the fridge wasn’t cooling anymore, and there were quite a few small ants and flies inside. Luckily, we had brought a large, electric-powered cooler with us that kept things colder than the fridge.

4. On our second booked night (another equally hot day), we moved to the Bastion Hotel Dordrecht, which turned out to be a great choice! It was simply impossible to sleep in the bungalow anymore because of the heat. When we arrived at the park at 7 a.m. on Sunday morning, it turned out that our gate pass wasn’t working anymore; apparently, it was only valid for the first 24 hours of our stay. So, once again, we couldn’t get in until we were able to sneak in with another car.

Conclusion… This park is a joke—maybe it was nice back in 1982, but now it’s just a disaster! We’d booked it for a fishing weekend purely for the convenience of having the marina and lodging right next to each other. But in the future, we’ll definitely look into other options. Don’t make the same mistake… spend your money on a different vacation spot!

Regarding the previous review, I don’t recognize this description.
It’s a beautifully located campground, well-maintained, with nice, spacious sites.
The restrooms are in excellent condition and clean.
The owner is open to all suggestions and improvements and is very approachable.
In short, this campground comes highly recommended.

A nice campsite with lots of pitches. You choose your pitch according to your wants eg comfort, XL etc.
Toilet blocks are fine with hot showers which are timed. Roads into the site are narrow.

It was just perfect!

We stayed there for 8 days—in a word, it was terrible. The toilet seat was missing, and in another bathroom, the toilet bowl was loose. The showerhead sprayed water everywhere. The light turns off on its own, so you end up washing yourself in the dark. A very outdated restaurant where the schnitzels have probably been simmering for ages, because for four people, they’re served within five minutes. The frozen pizza doesn’t deserve to be called pizza at all. It costs €3 per day for your dog—but why? You obviously have to walk him outside the campground; besides that, there’s nothing for your four-legged friend, so why pay? We accidentally walked into the “restaurant,” where we were told in a very urgent tone, “DER HUND MUS RAUS”—they could have phrased that a bit more politely. All in all, we’re NEVER coming back here!
