The three of us stayed in a lodge that sleeps up to 6 people. There’s plenty of space for a summer vacation where you spend most of your time outdoors. The walls are a bit thin. A large dining table forms the centerpiece of the bungalow. These lodges are in an absolutely fantastic location—right at the exit leading to the beach. It’s a 5-minute walk to the ocean, and there’s a great beach where you can swim really well. Lodge amenities include a Dolce Gusto coffee machine, electric kettle, microwave, induction stove, dishwasher, and a combination air conditioning/heating system. Wi-Fi is available in every lodge and throughout the entire property. Simply top-notch. Since we cook a lot ourselves, a few more kitchen utensils would be helpful—an extra pot or pan. Though that’s really just nitpicking. Three pots and two pans are standard. About the property. There’s a great restaurant on site, as well as a takeout pizzeria. You can also get the typical soft-serve ice cream there—which is just great for kids. There’s an indoor playground that’s a climbing paradise for the kids. Outside, there are also several playgrounds scattered throughout the grounds. The pool with its water play area is a great way to cool off in hot weather.
An absolutely top-notch facility.
However, there are a few things worth noting. First, I’d like to highlight the super-fast service. If something is broken, it gets fixed immediately. We had a pan whose coating was peeling off. Within 30 minutes, we had a new one. So if something isn’t quite right, you can count on top-notch service.
As for the few downsides.

Unfortunately, the upper area of the indoor playground (where a video game is set up) was dirty and had food scraps on the floor (even though eating is prohibited there). The game had frozen, and one of the balls was missing. As a result, the game was unusable. A few more lounge chairs could be set up in the pool area.
But that’s about it.
This is our second time at the resort, and we’ll definitely be back.

It’s absolutely great that you can park your car right next to the bungalow.
There’s also a room for bikes and everything else right at the lodge.

Looks amazing on paper, once there you see the tiny details: ants in the trailer's bathroom, a queue to get into the swimpool at 10:00, because you need to pay for the beds! Never seen it before: entrance to the swimpools is free, but not the beds! The swimpools are undersized for the number of guests, we're overpaying for food (105€ per day for half board for 2 adults + 1 kid), and the play area for kids has basically only 1 free structure, fit for 5-10 years old, the table-tennis isn't available in the evening. The boy is bored after 10 minutes. The air conditioning works perfectly, but not in the bedrooms ("Lodge Comfort"), so we need to keep the doors open: at this point I'd choose an hotel room

I enjoyed the campground's setting, which is really very pleasant, especially the tents with a view of the lake. The surroundings are peaceful, and the location is ideal for enjoying nature.

I also found the common areas to be very well maintained. The reception area and the community center are particularly nice and make a good impression right from the moment you arrive.

Together with our dachshund, we really enjoyed our stay at De Vieuw. The name says it all: “De Vieuw”—a fantastic view. We received a friendly and warm welcome. There’s a restaurant where you can enjoy delicious food, a swimming pool, and the accommodations we stayed in were flawless. In short, it’s the kind of place you’d want to return to in a heartbeat.

We spent two nights in a cozy trapper tent as part of the Trail des Écrins. We loved our stay—the tent was very well-equipped, there were activities and games for the kids, a relaxation area where we could read and have coffee, and a nice pool. It was great. And all of that just two minutes from the starting line, which was really nice since we were setting off at 6 a.m.
