Magnificent location and unspoilt nature. The nautical base is pleasant for a family. The tents (trapper for us) are well equipped and in the heart of nature. One major drawback: the dormice. We were awakened for 4 nights by noises, falling objects and, in the morning, droppings. The technical agent did what he could, but we ended up asking to change tents. That didn't solve the problem, but there were fewer of them. No one at reception informed us of this major problem, which is clearly a failure to provide information to customers, and that's a shame. Some staff seem overwhelmed when asked to change tents while explaining the dormouse problem. This is unacceptable, even if all the staff are friendly. It lacks professionalism. The place is beautiful but our stay was greatly disturbed. Not sure we'll be back.

In August about half of the pitches are not accessible because the campground is being renovated. Unhelpful staff (asked to change pitches always in the sun on gravel: they did not accommodate us; at night wild boars roam the campground but campground staff is not seen... ).Otherwise everything is fine: nice clean facilities, shower with free hot water.

Really had so much fun and cozy here, Iwan and Esther are lovely people:) Too bad we didn't get to meet Jacco;) The afternoon walk was a not so good choice (hottie), nice route though, but for a night this was really a great choice:) Hope to see you again:) (and in September we will check out;))

Beautifully situated site by the forest with little service. The restaurant is no longer in operation and the supply does not go beyond a bread roll service. The sanitary facilities are clean but very old and not very attractive. It is not possible to pay by card (and this is with Dutch operators?) and the guest tax to the municipality is to be paid separately by the customers. There is also room for improvement in the friendliness of the couple who run the place. What also spoiled the scenic experience for us were the bans on passing through (military installations) during our bike tours. Otherwise, it is a beautiful landscape. Unfortunately, we were a little too early for the heather blossom at the end of July.

We had a wonderful vacation at this campsite. Everything was very natural in a wonderful rocky setting. We found the separation of the pitches to be a real advantage, as there was plenty of privacy. Everything for children, playgrounds, nature and direct access to the swimming pool.

Delighted with our stay at this campsite where we spent 1 week.a family campsite with an adorable and simple manager and team. The luxury is to have bike paths on the outskirts of the campsite, which allow you to follow the entire coastline, a swimming pool and a magnificent beach 400 meters away. (To the attention of the manager, don't forget the deckchairs...) Les Simons

We were here with our 3 children for 2 weeks in a safari tent and it was wonderful! The campsite is beautifully located (plus lots of great attractions nearby) and the grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The paving maybe a little less, but that didn't bother us at all for those few meters you travel there (and is also a thing anyway in eastern Belgium ... :)). The atmosphere is very cozy, lively and very child-friendly. This is helped by the open and attractive layout of the site (divided into squares instead of boring rows), the fine entertainment for the smaller children and the swimming pool, with several pleasant chairs and umbrellas. (Oh yes: that footbath is dirty, logical - that's the dirt that doesn't get into the pool). The staff at the reception are super friendly and helpful, which also adds to the atmosphere. Then the plumbing, mentioned frequently below. Frankly, I found that to be rather not so bad. The toilets are regularly maintained, you logically do notice the difference whether you enter there right before or right after. In the meantime, it also helps if fellow campers flush (!) and leave the place decent. (Incidentally, I have rarely camped anywhere where the toilets are spotlessly clean, then you really need to go to another category...) The showers near the safari tents do need some adjusting, sometimes very little water comes out, but later during our stay that did get a little better. But: the showers next to the swimming pool are clearly older but much nicer! Strong jet, nice and hot. Finally, the cafe/restaurant deserves praise, I have rarely enjoyed eating in a camping restaurant, this is really the exception. Excellent fries, good looking and tasting burgers and excellent pizzas (I'm not talking about the friterie by the pool...).

We stopped at Huttopia during a bicycle trip. Initially we planned to rest there for two days, but the place is so well located close to the lake and in a pine forest that we decided to stay two more days. We hearthly recommand this camping for any tourer as it offers clean and modern infrastructure, together with a bar, pizzeria and a swimming pool. One extra kudo for the staff Who is really welcoming and helpful.

Unfortunately, we were dissatisfied with our stay. On arrival it smelled strongly of chlorine and the smell persisted for almost three days despite the windows being permanently open. This was followed by a musty, moldy smell. One of the drains in the bathroom was blocked and did not drain, and one of the gas burners in the gas stove was faulty. There were also ants behind the bed. Kind of unsatisfactory for the price we paid! Totally annoyed us when we arrived on vacation. A board on the terrace had been replaced very inexpertly so that it protruded several centimeters - we all stubbed our toe on it several times. In addition, the facility was far too full in my opinion. The air conditioning failed completely and there were several power cuts, which clearly shows the overload. On a positive note, we would like to emphasize the really beautiful location - an absolutely gorgeous place that would have a lot of potential if basic flaws were fixed. As it is, however, it is simply overpriced!

A neat campsite in Luxembourg. Neat plumbing and convenient that you can wash here. Close to the cozy towns of Diekirch and Ettelbruck and all stores within walking distance. Ideal!

I cannot recommend this place. Completely overpriced and the sanitary facilities are totally rotten. The mold stains from last year were simply covered with new silicone. The lighting in the shower cubicles is inadequate and to top it off, you can only shower with cold water every day from 17:00. The garbage dumps are full of rats and the absolute crowning glory is the construction of these new mobile homes. As a camper, you can endure the parties of the mobile home residents every day until 01:30 in the morning. As for the pitches by the sea, in the high season, they charge a terse €200 per night. But then you have all the bathers in front of you and can be happy that everyone is walking across the rented pitch. No thanks, we'll never come back - we've had enough.
