We were here in October from 13.10. to 23.10. The reception staff were friendly and spoke English and German. The pitches are nice, gravelled and arranged in terraces, although sometimes quite narrow to drive in and a bit sloping. A few good wedges are definitely needed here Sanitary block no. 1 was very modern and super clean. Good pressure on the water supply, rain shower and hand shower available. Toilet paper, soap at the hand basins and hairdryers available. We did not look at the others. Plenty of flushing facilities, but no plugs for the sinks. But we already know this from other places, so we always have a universal plug with us. Washing machines available. Everything was clean, including the beach area. The small bakery on the site is good and the sales clerk spoke German. Fruit and vegetable stall on the pitch also available with nice, English-speaking sellers. !! It should be mentioned that the pizzeria, pool, children's entertainment and wellness are already closed at this time. Only a small stand with rather expensive prices for snacks and drinks is still open. This is not clearly indicated on the Maistra website. However, we "only" paid €310 for the Superior pitch for the 10 days. That's the price you pay for a weekend in Holland. Pure, quiet camping. Just right for us. Most of the restaurants and stores in the town were already closed.

Really a very nice campground. Our kids love going there. The team is very responsive to the kids and you have different ways to stay overnight. There is also plenty to do nearby.

We were already staying in another cottage nearby for a few days and wanted to stay an extra night, but unfortunately everything at that park was fully booked. So two days in advance we drove by De IJsvogel to see if there was anything available before we booked. The Wellness Lodge for 2 people immediately appealed to us: on the pictures it looked attractive and luxurious, and the outside of the house also made a well-groomed impression. Despite the hefty price of €315 for one night, we decided to book anyway - after all, we were already in the area and the surroundings are beautiful. On the day of arrival we arrived a little early (around 14:40) and asked if the cottage might be ready. A friendly lady at the reception called and told us that it just needed to be checked. After five minutes we went to the cottage, but no one came by, so we went inside. Inside, we immediately noticed that the interior had quite a bit of signs of use: a hole in the couch, stains on the rug and beds that had not been made. The look of the cottage was not what we expected. Fortunately, the bathtub and sauna did look good, so we decided to make the best of it anyway. After a nice walk through the woods, we wanted to try the sauna. Everything worked fine, but in the shower the water kept standing. When we opened the drain, it turned out to be full of hair - really dirty and obviously not cleaned for a long time. There was also no soap or bath foam anywhere, and no bathrobes, which were included in the description. Then you automatically start looking more closely and the stains on walls and floor also become more and more noticeable. Because we didn't feel like staying, we went back to the reception, but it turned out that it was already closed at 17:00. Through the emergency number we got to speak to someone, but he could do little. After some insistence he would try to reach the owner. A little later the cleaning ladies came by. They cleaned the shower drain and told us that the bathrobes "had not been delivered today by the laundry". The owner called back later, but indicated there was little he could do for us because we had already used the cottage. We decided to pack our things and go home. Eventually we were given a choice between a voucher for the full amount or a 50% refund. Since we actually spent only two hours in the cottage, we made a counter-proposal, but he would not accept it. All in all, a big disappointment. The park itself and the surroundings are beautiful, but the condition of the cottage, the hygiene and the handling of our complaint were really below par - especially considering the high price. Too bad, €156 lost for two hours in a neglected cottage. As a note to your comment. I think pictures say enough about the truth. Completely renovated 3 months ago. There is almost no paint left on the baseboards.

We were there with the Womo. The heating house on the site is very loud. A lot of general noise from young people. Not my kind of camping site.

Really well appointed Rumi very clean units at a very moderate price. The ambience of the park is quiet and respectful there are all different kinds of guests here and many activities for each of them. There is a restaurant on site that comes very highly recommended. I am extremely happy with my chalet here.

A really great campsite where you can enjoy your vacation to the full! I've been coming here regularly since I was a child - and I still enjoy every day I spend there. The beach is beautiful, the ice cream is simply delicious and the whole team is always friendly and helpful. A place to relax and unwind - highly recommended! 🌞🏕️

We loved the location and the kindness and professionalism of all the staff. The bungalow, 10. Equipped with everything you need. The double rooms a little small for the two beds, but for us it was great because we had a room for each. The campsite has all the services to enjoy a cozy, pleasant and fun stay: paddle tennis, soccer, basketball, spa and barbecues. What surprised me most is how clean everything is always. I recommend it 100%.

Super place with good cabins and bike washing facilities. Great area for cycling and on one of the classic climbs of the Amstel gold race. Really scenic area also for good walks.

Great place for a vacation. Even if it's not by the sea, you still have that feeling.
