Holiday Park DuinhoeveWe have been there 10 years, last year a field full of travelers very intimidating, 2 nights did not sleep because of this left earlier. After complaining to the owners we were told that no one had complained very strange, had been several people in the office who were assigned a different pitch. Nothing more heard from the campsite with an excuse, very sad if you have been coming there for 10 years. The doubt is also great to return. Should they read this it is still appreciated to talk about this. Camping itself not much luxury toilet and shower are clean. The area is beautiful nice cycling hiking etc.

Wij hebben er 10 jaar gestaan afgelopen jaar een veld vol travellers zeer intimiderend, 2 nachten niet geslapen hierdoor eerder vertrokken. Na een klacht neergelegd te hebben bij de eigenaren kregen we te horen dat niemand had geklaagd erg vreemd, waren al diverse mensen op kantoor geweest die een andere plaats aangewezen kregen. Niets meer van de camping vernomen met excuus, zeer triest als je er al 10 jaar komt. De twijfel is ook groot om terug te keren. Mochten ze dit lezen word het alsnog op prijs gesteld om hierover te praten. Camping zelf niet veel luxe wc en douche zijn schoon. De omgeving is mooi lekker fietsen wandelen etc.

Kompas Camping - WestendePitch & location: We parked our caravan in the dune zone. You should know (but this is already clear when booking and on Google Maps) that this is not a natural dune right by the sea. Nevertheless, the area is very beautiful and lovingly designed, even with hammocks between the pitches. The location is great: you can easily reach the beach on foot in around 15 minutes. Sanitary & winter camping: The sanitary facilities were modern, well-maintained and always clean - a big plus! One small downer for us as winter campers: the outside water pipes are unfortunately not heated. As a result, they were frozen in the morning and we had to wait until the temperatures rose during the day to be able to use the water. A trace heating system for the pipes would be desirable here. However, points are deducted for the showers: 6 minutes shower time with a very weak water jet is far too short with children. It also takes a very long time before you can start the process again for another round. Leisure facilities: One major point of criticism is the indoor playground. Unfortunately, it was completely unusable for us. The nets are broken, the equipment is outdated and generally very dirty. As a family with small children, you should not rely on this offer at the moment - there is an urgent need for renovation and cleaning. Conclusion: A great, clean place for beach lovers with a nice flair. If you have the issue of water under control in winter and avoid the indoor playground, you can have a great time here!

Stellplatz & Lage: Wir standen mit dem Wohnwagen in der Dünenzone. Man sollte wissen (was aber schon bei der Buchung und auf Google Maps klar ersichtlich ist), dass es sich hierbei nicht um eine natürliche Düne direkt am Meer handelt. Dennoch ist das Areal sehr schön und liebevoll gestaltet, sogar mit Hängematten zwischen den Plätzen. Die Lage ist super: Den Strand erreicht man bequem zu Fuß in etwa 15 Minuten. Sanitär & Wintercamping: Die Sanitäranlagen waren modern, gepflegt und stets sauber – ein dicker Pluspunkt! Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen für uns als Wintercamper: Die Außenwasserleitungen sind leider nicht beheizt. Dadurch waren sie morgens eingefroren, und wir mussten warten, bis die Temperaturen tagsüber stiegen, um Wasser nutzen zu können. Hier wäre eine Begleitheizung für die Rohre wünschenswert. Allerdings gibt es Punktabzug für die Duschen: 6 Minuten Duschzeit bei recht schwachem Wasserstrahl sind mit Kindern viel zu kurz. Zudem dauert es sehr lange, bis man den Vorgang für eine weitere Runde wieder starten kann. Freizeitangebot: Ein großer Kritikpunkt ist der Indoor-Spielplatz. Dieser war für uns leider absolut unnutzbar. Die Netze sind defekt, die Anlage ist veraltet und insgesamt maximal verdreckt. Als Familie mit kleinen Kindern sollte man sich aktuell nicht auf dieses Angebot verlassen – hier besteht dringender Renovierungs- und Reinigungsbedarf. Fazit: Ein toller, sauberer Platz für Strandliebhaber mit schönem Flair. Wenn man das Thema Wasser im Winter im Griff hat und den Indoor-Spielplatz meidet, kann man hier eine sehr schöne Zeit verbringen!

Hameau de la SemoisIt is a very quiet and beautiful place. Perfect location, in the middle of nature, close to Bouillon at 2 kilometers. Small Ecovillages in wood, with the warmth of home and the possibility of beautiful views. It has the basics to spend a few days of rest. To take into account: most of the paths to reach some of the cabins are located on the mountain slope, so it may not be suitable for everyone, especially if it has snowed or the ground is frozen. My family and I were satisfied with the experience, we will surely come back.

Es un lugar muy tranquilo y hermoso. Ubicación perfecta, en medio de la naturaleza, cerca de Bouillon a 2 kilómetros. Pequeñas Ecovillages en madera, con calidez de hogar y posibilidad a vistas hermosas. Cuenta con lo básico para pasar unos dias de descanso. Para tener en cuenta: la mayoría de los caminos para llegar a algunas cabañas están ubicadas en la inclinación de la montaña, entonces puede no ser apto para todas las personas, más aún si ha nevado o está el suelo congelado. Mi familia y yo estuvimos satisfechos con la experiencia, Seguro volveremos.

Urban-GardensWe stayed there overnight in the caravan for New Year's Eve. In itself good location of the campsite. Upon arrival, the info was strictly given. Understandable, anything can go wrong with New Year's Eve. Fortunately, no fireworks at the campsite! There were quite a few people on the campsite! There was only 1 sanitary block open, no problem for the women. For the men, there were some showers with either cold water or the water did not drain. The buildings themselves (the outside) need some freshening up. Campground is located along highway and you can hear that.

We hebben er overnacht in de caravan voor oudejaarsavond. Op zich goeie ligging van de camping. Bij aankomst werd de info strikt meegegeven. Verstaanbaar, er kan vanalles mislopen met oudejaar. Gelukkig geen vuurwerk op de camping! Er stond best wat volk op de camping! Er was maar 1 sanitaire blok open, bij de vrouwen geen probleem. Bij de mannen waren er enkele douches met ofwel koud water ofwel liep het water niet weg. Aan de gebouwen zelf (de buitenkant) is wat opfrissingswerk nodig. Camping is gelegen langs autostrade en dat hoor je wel.

ZuiderzeeThe house was very much in need of renovation. A few carpet tiles were missing on the stairs. There was something indefinable stuck to the curtains and the ceiling and the walls looked as if everyone had left something there. There are broken drawers in the fridge or they are completely missing. The shower cubicles are also leaking and the water floods the bathroom. In one bedroom on the upper floor it dripped through the ceiling during a rain shower at night, we put a bowl underneath and cleared the room. The house is also very noisy. Too bad for the house in a not so bad neighborhood.

Das Haus war doch sehr renovierungsbedürftig. Auf den Treppen fehlten ein paar Teppichfliesen. An den Vorhängen und der Decke klebte etwas undefinierbares und die Wände sahen aus, als wenn jeder dort irgendetwas hinterlassen hatte. Im Kühlschrank sind zerbrochene Schubladen oder sie fehlen gleich komplett. Die Duschkabinen sind auch undicht und das Wasser flutet das Bad. In einen Schlafzimmer der oberen Etage hat es bei einem Regenschauer Nachts durch die Decke getropft, wir haben eine Schüssel untergestellt und das Zimmer geräumt. Das Haus ist außerdem sehr hellhörig. Schade für das Haus in einer nicht so schlechten Umgebung.

The lodges are fantastic. I can imagine that the old bungalows are less so. Park is beautiful with lots of water features. The area is beautiful and Arcen a nice village with nice stores and dining locations within walking distance if you want (2.5 km). The supermarket on the park is fine. The hospitality industry mwah. You can't even order in your own language and there is not much attention to you if you want another drink or checkout.

De lodges zijn fantastisch. Ik kan mij wel voorstellen dat de oude bungalows minder zijn. Park is mooi met veel waterpartijen. De omgeving is prachtig en Arcen een leuk dorpje met leuke winkels en eetlocaties op loopafstand als je wil (2.5 km). De supermarkt op het park is fijn. De horeca mwah. Je kan niet eens in je eigen taal bestellen en er is niet veel aandacht voor je als je nog iets wil drinken of afrekenen.

KaatsheuvelNice, clean chalet on a beautifully landscaped park. Nice decorated, many nice playgrounds. Everything is quite close together and through large windows a lot of visibility. Some tips / improvements: - pool stone cold. Women's toilet in pool was broken, I got comments that I in my wet bathing suit at the entrance to the toilet went "because then it was so wet there" 🤷♀️ - a little more cutlery would be nice so the dishwasher can be loaded a little fuller - arrival very busy and somewhat chaotic, process could be a bit clearer because now there are people waiting outside in line and the other half of the company is waiting in the car in line. Only late it becomes clear that you can check in from the car but this only becomes clear when it is almost your turn. In my opinion, this made the queues twice as long - mop in cottage would be handy so we could mop away moisture at window frames in the morning. Now we got towels but whether they get clean...? 😅 - mini market is nothing and ridiculously expensive: box of tea 3.60. Bottle of spa red 3.75. Bag of chips 3.20.... All in all had nice week and ended the vacation with a positive feeling.

Mooie, schone chalet op een prachtig aangelegd park. Leuk aangekleed, veel leuke speeltuintjes. Alles staat wel vrij dicht op elkaar en door grote raampartijen veel inkijk. Wel wat tips/verbeterpunten: - zwembad steenkoud. Damestoilet in zwembad was kapot, ik kreeg commentaar dat ik in mijn natte badpak bij de entree naar het toilet ging ‘want dan werd het daar zo nat’ 🤷♀️ - iets meer bestek zou lekker zijn zodat de vaatwasser wat voller geladen kan worden - aankomst enorm druk en doet wat chaotisch aan, proces kan wel wat duidelijker want nu staan er mensen buiten in de rij te wachten en de andere helft van het gezelschap staat in de auto in de rij. Pas laat wordt duidelijk dat je vanuit de auto kunt inchecken maar dit wordt pas duidelijk als je bijna aan de beurt bent. Voor mijn gevoel werden de rijen hierdoor dubbel zo lang - dweil in huisje zou handig zijn zodat we ‘s ochtends vocht bij kozijnen konden wegdweilen. Nu kregen we handdoeken maar of die schoon worden..? 😅 - minimarkt stelt niets voor en belachelijk duur: doosje thee 3,60. Fles spa rood 3,75. Zak chips 3,20.. Al met al leuke week gehad en met een positief gevoel de vakantie afgesloten.
